Hi everyone, I submitted my I-751 June of last year in Vermont. We sent our packet first week of June 2017. We got NOA1 June 30, 2017 and went for Biometrics appointment July 18, 2017. We never heard from them since then. My extension letter will expire on August 16, 2018 so I set an infopass appointment today, July 6, 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA. I told the guy that my one year extension is expiring next month. He checked my extension letter and passport and stamped it for another year. He is very nice. At 8:45 pm today, my status changed from case received in local office to new card is being produced. My husband and I are wondering if the infopass appointment triggered the change of status. We are very happy about the news. My case is 17263XXXXX. I want to share this so people who are still waiting will be inspired. I am pretty soon their approvals will come.

Congratulations!!! VSC is much much faster than CSC. I had an infopass appointment last week and the officer told me they are so behind in CSC and I should be expecting to hear something around February 2019!

My extension letter states that it will extend my conditional residence by up to one year from the expiration date on my green card. So, this is october for me, but applied for removal in july. I am assuming my extension is not from the time i applied, but the green card date?

Hi

I got the greencard is being produced message. My case was received on the 20th of june. Initially was in vermont but i moved and the case was moved to california and then to local office. I did apply for naturalization 2 days before receiving the message about the greencard. Hope is not a mistake! Does it takes 120 days to receive as mentioned in the message? Good luck for everybody here!

Hi, congratulations! Have you ever received a letter or some kind of a confirmation that your case was moved to California? I filed with Vermont last June but moved in February and supposedly my case should've been transferred to CSC, but I never received any confirmation of that, so I believe my case is still in VSC *well, I hope it is there cuz CSC is insanely slow*

Well, I finally received something for the first time in 13 months. An email from the DHS website stating that my case is still under review <_< At least it says it was touched on June 25th even so I'm not sure if it actually means something or not.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? LOL As a pessimist I'd be upset because they just started working on it and who knows how much longer it will take, but as an optimist, I'd be happy that someone actually opened my case and it is not in a pile with thousands of other cases anymore :D

did you apply for N-400?? that might be the "action" they are referring to. I received the same e-mail but on June 23 is when they sent the notice for my biometrics appointment. Sadly it seems it has nothing to do with my conditions being removed.

I did not and I'm not planning to anytime soon, so the "action" should be related to my I-751 petition.

the email on june 23 has nothing to do with your n-400 biometrics appointment since the email was from your i-751 status

From the timeline above all VSC people that applied for their N400 have received their green cards. So looks like applying for N400 triggers them to approve you.

Actually we have not received any approval. June 2nd 2017 filing date for I-751. Just 'updates' in the system to say File Transferred to local office. We also filed the N400 May 20th 2018, Biometrics June 5th. No action on our case.
