Congrats! I'm happy to see that another June filer who hasn't applied for N400 was approved.

Uhh... it blows my mind how USCIS is processing cases. It seems like there is no order at all.

Hi everyone, I submitted my I-751 June of last year in Vermont. We sent our packet first week of June 2017. We got NOA1 June 30, 2017 and went for Biometrics appointment July 18, 2017. We never heard from them since then. My extension letter will expire on August 16, 2018 so I set an infopass appointment today, July 6, 2018 in Pittsburgh, PA. I told the guy that my one year extension is expiring next month. He checked my extension letter and passport and stamped it for another year. He is very nice. At 8:45 pm today, my status changed from case received in local office to new card is being produced. My husband and I are wondering if the infopass appointment triggered the change of status. We are very happy about the news. My case is 17263XXXXX. I want to share this so people who are still waiting will be inspired. I am pretty soon their approvals will come.

Congrats.....

Hi

I got the greencard is being produced message. My case was received on the 20th of june. Initially was in vermont but i moved and the case was moved to california and then to local office. I did apply for naturalization 2 days before receiving the message about the greencard. Hope is not a mistake! Does it takes 120 days to receive as mentioned in the message? Good luck for everybody here!

Congrats.....

My husband got an approved finally. It's Vermont and eac172560****. Received notice on June 12th 2017. Both of his gc and a one yr extension has expired in June( we didn't file it until last minutes). We just didn't care because we knew it was coming soon or later.

Dont be stressed, it will come soon :)

I don't comment very often on this site, but just checking in to say my card is being produced!!!  My first NOA was from June 16 2017, and I just got a text notification yesterday that my case was updated.  It was the first time I heard anything about my case since my biometrics appt last July.  I was fully expecting to get an RFE after reading what a lot of people on here send in, since I sent in only a minimal amount of documents by comparison, but somehow I managed to be approved.

Good luck to all those still waiting!   Can't wait to have the card in hand!

Congrats.....

Hey guys,

Has anybody received a second extension letter yet? I've been reading that they should be sending a new one due to the long waiting times, but I still haven't received anything yet.

Should I get an Infopass and get a 551 stamp or wait for the letter? I filed on CSC.

A handful of people have posted they have gotten their second extension letter. We have not yet, though. We did make an Infopass appointment for this past Thursday and we got our stamp without a hitch. I'd say if you're with CSC and you have the time to make the appointment, do it. Even if we get our letter after we have our stamp, we still have the peace of mind that even if it takes another 8 months we're set with our one year stamp.

Thanks for your reply.

Another few questions: do they take your expired GC when they give you the stamp? or depends on the officer/office? Is it a year stamp? I heard they give 6 months stamps sometimes.

We had an appointment today to get an I-551 stamp and were successful, in case anyone still waiting on CSC for the 2nd extension letter is out there. Brought in passport, NOA1, and expired GC and the officer looked at everything, asked a few questions and gave us the stamp. We received our NOA June 6th  and GC expires the end of August sometime. I was kind of afraid he would tell us to wait till the end of August and wait for our 18 month extension letter; but he didn't say anything about them. He also returned our Extension Letter and GC. So we still have that which is nice. He pointed to the GC and noted a number on it that matched what was stamped in my husband's passport. He said immigration at the ports are familiar with the stamp and that's all we would need in that instance; but he said that workplaces and the DMV may not be familiar. So maybe that's why he gave us the GC back too--just in case someone wanted to see the GC and stamp together.

Not a problem. Here is my experience. I heard as well there are 6mo - 18 mo stamps. We didn't specify one, but got a year-long stamp.

@Coogah I traveled internationally twice with my I551 stamp, on the first trip I was alone and so I was taken to secondary inspection and they didn't ask me any questions, just got my papers, looked at it and stamped my passport, it took less than 5 minutes. On the other trip I was with my husband, the US Citizen and I was not taken to secondary inspection (mind you that we dont share last names).

Dont worry, it should be easy, especially if you are with your US Citizen spouse.

We'll be traveling together and we'll only be out of the country for a week, we don't share last names yet either ^_- Guess I won't worry about it too much.
