Cast your net for a potential co-sponsor wider; it can be embarassing to ask, and you will get turned down by most, but someone might say yes. Ask current and former church/ mosque family, old friends from high school, former co-workers, neighbours, distant relatives etc... Also look at your side; you you have friends from school, distant family or people you knew at your place of worship that moved to the USA who may sponsor?

Your only other option is to delay at NVC stage until your wife finds a job.

I don't think the rule has changed (unless I am mistaken), but rather that it was a discretionary issue. The house has to be easy liquified and without a large impact to the family. Often times that is why if the house is the only asset, that is it better to have a joint sponsor. There might be a lot of play in that with how much equity is in the house, if it is close to the asset minimums or if it is 600k or the like. It doesn't sound like in OP's case that there is a huge amount of equity.

The rules have changed. Read page 9 of the latest I-864 Instructions which allows using the equity of the primary residence as an asset.

No one online will agree to be your sponsor and be financially responsible for you. No stranger will do that. Would you want to pay the expenses for a stranger?

You are violating the TOS of VJ by seeking to pay for a sponsor.

No one is stupid enough to give your their private financial information. NO ONE. NO STRANGER ONLINE WILL BE YOUR SPONSOR.

If you need a financial sponsor then that's your only choice

Like said above you will need to find a sponsor even for another visa that will also require a sponsor.
