I called and all they they say is my case is with an officer for review and i will hear from them within 60 days. Is it normal. My now wife was refused a K1 visa on misrepresentation. Will that be an issue?

It depends..Misrepresentation on what? Was there a ban placed on her?

The ban was for misrepresentation because she claim to be married when she wasnt at the K1 visa interview.  She was put on administration processing but we already got married before we were ask to file a waiver on the K1 visa. So we filed I-130 to get approved before we file for the waiver because the K1 visa cant be processed now we are married.

That's a bit complex, claiming married on a k1. Well, u would definitely get an approval but ur wife may not have a very easy interview at the embassy.

The embassy asked she file for I-601 waiver before issuing K-1 visa. But now she is married and no need the K-1 visa anymore. Do you think we will be asked to file the I-601 waiver before the I-130 get approved or we will be asked to go file the waiver at the embassy when she goes to the CR-1 visa interview?

MissMatalini, did you get your email or did you call and find out?  They claim to have my email but I get no updates whatsoever.

We were approved the 30th of March and still don’t have any info. NVC says they don’t even have our case yet and USCIS is saying they have up to 90 days to send it? That doesn’t sound right.. how long should we wait? I’m concerned it was lost since USCIS still reports we are in processing  but I know it’s not true because I have the approval in my hand .. really confused 🤷🏼‍♀️
