I just realized my one year extension letter is going to expire this week. Where can I go to ask for further extension? I checked online and it looks like the local USCIS office only accept finger print appointment and they don't accept appointment such as extend green card. Do I have to go to the USCIS center? I live in Chicagoland, and it looks like the USCIS center in Chicago has been booked as far as 2 weeks away. What should i do? Thank you everyone!

Can anyone help answer please? Thank you

Yes i am from chicago!! you will need to go to downtown. you will need to try your best to find available appointment slot. I dont know if you can walkin over there but most likely you need to setup appoinment. may be midnight would be best time.

I don't think there is a specific order in those case numbers. You might find WAC17223 to be have a receipt date of 5/9/17, and WAC17214 a receipt date of 5/30/17 for example.

Mine is WAC17227 and receipt date is 5/11. So 5/9 to 5/11 can't be 4 days :)

Mine is also WAC17227 and receipt date 5/11. Did yours get transfered? Did you apply for your N400?

No transfer, except that status glitch that says "case transferred to your local USCIS office."

I got an email from USCIS today confirming that my case is still in CSC despite that transfer to local office status.

Yes, we did apply for N-400.

What are your last 2 digits on your WAC? Mine is 19. :)
