I got my biometrics appointment letter before the NOAs as well, and thought it was weird, but now I see I'm not the only one. :)

Hello everyone! So I got my biometrics appointment letter in the mail just now. Notice dated 04/14/2017 but my case status online did not change. My appointment is on May 5th 12pm. Location is only 5 mins away from me - good for me cause I don't drive but I have to leave school early. I'm excited! 😊

Hey everyone.. I sent my AOS packet on April 3rd. The check was cashed yesterday.. does anyone know how long it takes to get notifications after check has been cashed?

It doesn't change for biometrics at all, not for it's scheduling or for its completion

Hi! In my case, I received e-notification a day after they cashed my check and hardcopies 5 days later. But every case is different so.  You will get yours soon, give it at least a week or two. 😊

Finally sent my application for AOS, EAD and AP today! Sent through USPS priority mail. Should be in Chicago by April 24.

 

My timeline: filed for I-129F in September, approved in October, interview and visa received in January, POE in March, married April 7.

Yeah, basically would be a waste of money at this point. It would have expired by the time it arrives in the mail, though you can use the signed paper one immediately if there is a critical need. Otherwise, probably better to wait for EAD.

07/26/2017 - Text & Email saying "On July 26, 2017, we mailed your new card"

12/06/2017 - Received interview notice by mail (dated 11/27/2017)

01/11/2018 - GC Interview (San Antonio). Approved!

01/19/2018 - 10-year GC received in the mail.
