i meant to say now instead of not there... yeah it is in 11 days... I'm so nervous even though i have nothing to be nervous about... the only thing that bothers me is that historically I'm quite horrible at interviews lol... BTW I saw someone on here say you can get RFEs up until the date of the interview, hopefully not true as I haven't seen someone who actually had to go through it, post on here... thanks for the luck and hope everything ends up being great...

yeah interviews are always a bit stressful lol but don't worry, reading from other people's experience it seems it is going to be a relaxed and short conversation. Wow really? you can still get a RFE? Maybe, theoretically is true but not practically; like you said, I haven't seen any comments of anyone receiving a RFE days before their interview either.

Good to hear you've made some progress at last.

I wouldn't believe a word of what USCIS say regarding your biometrics. I only received an appointment when my congressman's office stepped in. The lady who was handling my case at the congressman's office printed off my appointment letter on a Friday (14th) for me to take to my appointment the following Monday (17th), which was very fortunate given that the appointment letter USCIS finally got around to sending me arrived yesterday (21st) a full four days after my appointment,

Huge congratulations. 3 months is ridiculously quick, by all accounts. And, I won't lie: I am extremely jealous.

Wow that's amazingly fast! Congrats! :D This is VERY encouraging, considering you had your interview in one of the bay area offices where they have a huge backlog. Additionally, the timing cannot get any better: the weekend would be worry-free at least. Celebrate it well! B-)

OMG OMG that is sooo nice to hear, Congratulations @RandB!!! Hopefully mine goes the same route... I will try to break your 3 month record time with my 70 days lol... (my interview is scheduled for August 2nd and PD is May 24th) You should totally go somewhere for the weekend just the two of you and celebrate this!!!

Thank you everyone! We actually did go out of town. So far this weekend I've managed to get my green card and my wife and I just got a new apartment!

Good luck on your interview, nikaero. I'm sure it will go easy! Just have you paperwork in order. It's not very stressful at all. :)

I've read about people getting RFE's before their interview. It doesn't happen often but it's still possible.

A lot of March filers started getting approvals from day 80, but it's kind of different for April filers 😑

It varies, just like people getting interviews before EAD/AP here. I didn't get my approval until day 113 with no RFE, long after people that filed after me with RFE. In the February filers forum, many people were averaging 120 days for EAD/AP, while others were getting  GC interviews within 90 days. We try to find logic and meaning to USCIS processing times, but really we are just at their mercy and can only make a best guess using data from members on VJ.

Good morning dear April fillers!

A new week has started. I hope this one brings good news for all of us, specially if cases are over 100 days.

Yesterday I reached out of the correct congressman, we filled out 2 different forms. Crossing fingers once again 🙈🙉🙊

Hi fellow April filers,

I'm at around 100 days now, I put in a service request on July 10 and no answer since then. I just called my congressman's office (in Brooklyn, NY) and I got an appointment with their immigration expert on Wednesday. They were very rude and unfriendly on the phone, which has me a bit worried about them making an actual effort to get some resolution when they contact USCIS on my behalf. But one can only hope for the best. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm sorry you had to deal with that, like i commented on this forum earlier, customer service is a dying art... I would guess that being in the immigrant capital of the US they see too many immigration cases on a daily basis and is probably frustrated with their jobs... Best of luck with the rest of your process!!!
