Congratulations! Really envious now... I was hoping cases with the same date were sent in a batch, since I've seen yours and at least another one getting their number, but ours doesn't even show as received.

Oh well...

Which option did you use to call? :)

I recall pressing 1 for English then 7 and waiting for over 20 minutes. The agent was very nice and I knew once she asked my name that she had the number.

I'm not sure if that is the case or not.  What it appears is that they can take up to 15 days for the RFE that they have requested for the petition to actually be sent out.  Which is why when I and Chris called we were told by the Tier 2 person that we got an RFE.  It took them about 15 days for them to send it out to me.  I hope it doesn't take that long for you @Chris2870.

As for calling, you are right in the time that you should be finding something out soon.  It is always up to you and your SO.

Yep. They said it would be sent between sept 2-8.

I really hate that.  It sucks that they can't send it out right away.

You and me both ... I really want to call them again, but I am really trying to resist the urge. Last time I called I got a little pushy with the tier 2 as they wouldn't tell me a thing, so to all of you who are getting these officers that tell all, I say congrats and congrats to all who have received their notice!! I am hoping to hear something soon. My receive date April 6 notice date April 11 ... I am really starting to worry there is a problem here ...

I just called the NVC and was given our NVC number and our invoice number! Yes! While I was on hold with them I received an email from my US Senator's office requesting the NVC number. Another glorious day on the journey! I hope someone gets some great news today as well! Apologies, I am so geeked.

Congratulations!

Another quick update (just updated timeline).  Wow, to say things move fast once you get your NOA2 is an understatement.  We were expecting an interview closer to October, but amazingly, it's scheduled for the last day of August!

BIG Congrats to everyone who has gotten their NOA2!  For those still waiting, be patient.. it's worth it!
