Our case was sent to nvc on March 17th, and we got the case number on March 29th (12 days) don't worry, call themagain on friday

Keep calling them. Eventually a nice Rep will provide you the case # and maybe even IIN #.

the lady typed our receipt number in and said she can't see anything yet ...

could always mis-typed. only suggestion is to keep calling.

My case was approved March 30th and NVC received it Apr 1st.

I think they should already receive your case already.

Sorry, It's not right, but that has been the situation at NVC for several months now. Hold times are despicable!.  Hold times are always long during peak hours. I get connected directly when ever i call them around 7am ET

That's funny , same for me. Tried one morning around 8 or 9 am and no hold time. But that was the first and only time it's ever happened lol

He did electronic processing . I wish we all could do that. No more "misplaced" files and two week case completes. I'd give anything right about now. Two weeks versus 3-6 months...so jeaous

Checking in. 2 weeks down hopefully NOT 9 more to go..Lol this is really hard and it doesn't help I have little to no patience 😢 but this whole process has been waiting so I know I can do it!

I had a 3 min wait time or none at all when calling 7-8am. A 7 min wait time at 12am, but when I called close to 11pm it was always a 20+ min wait

Do you know which option to choose while calling NVC to find out if interview has been scheduled or not? There are 7 options and one options says "to confirm the interview date and time" is that the one?

Tell me about it. I haven't even sent my documents in yet.  We're still waiting on my husband's police certificate which should be arriving this week. I told him this morning to go stalk the mailmen.  He's probably rethinking the marriage at this point lol
