Three burglars enter home, son shoots them all dead with AR-15 assault rifle

Three teenagers who allegedly broke into a house in Oklahoma have been shot dead by the homeowner’s son using an AR-15 assault rifle.

The three teenagers were aged 16, 17 and 18-years-old and two of them were armed, police said, one with a knife and another with brass knuckles, ABC Tulsa reported. 

The son of the Wagoner County homeowner, aged 23, had been asleep when he heard “loud bangs” coming from the back door, officers told NewsOn6.

 

He reportedly armed himself with an AR-15 rifle and walked towards the back door, where he found the three teenagers wearing masks and gloves. They had shattered the back door as they entered the home, officers alleged.  

A spokesperson for Wagoner County Sheriff’s office said in a statement the three suspects forced entry into the home in Broken Arrow through the back door.

“Upon making entry to the home one of the residents fired a rifle striking all three of the suspects.

“Two of the suspects died inside the home while one was able to run to the driveway before succumbing to his injuries,” the statement read.

I know it was short range but can only conclude with that ammo must have been multiple hits. Perhaps the getaway driver was concerned she would be next? Should have called a UBER.

Weren't they bad kids?  I guess we should just let them violate someone's personal property?  They choose the act, and they knew the consequences, or at least should have.  It's sort of like slapping a racist in the face.

seriously not going to have this argument, i was observing the giddiness above in response to three lives ending before they're even legal to drink a beer. 

 

slapping a racist in the face is not the same thing as shooting a racist. i'm sure you remember this scene from friday..

I certainly don't take light of the fact that some idiots made serious mistakes, but it is their freedom to make those mistakes and face the consequences.  If someone comes into your house with a weapon, what would you do?  I was taught to defend myself, and if they end up dead so be it.

again, i'm only pointing out how thrilling this is for some of our lovely cehst compadres. 

 

but you might note the word 'allegedly' there at the very beginning of the article. i'm a believer in due process - not so much stand your ground.
