But they have this saying about hungry bellies making one get off the couch... in theory this could also be applied to a hungry belly means get off the couch and get your own sammich if you want it badly enough.  Why rely on others to make a sammich for you. At the very least you could then guarantee it is not poisoned in any way.

I think that the chance of the sammich being poisoned is all part of the experience. It really throws a sense of adventure into every bite.
