In my opinion supervisor / review department is the same thing just different wordings to get us off of the phones . I could be wrong though. As of March 16th my case is forwarded to supervisor's attention at least that's what I was told.

I have called earlier this week to get the same generic answers. I refuse to call until I see someone with CC around my Scan Date of January 18.

What is your scan date ?

my scan date is March 2nd, so it is still a long wait for me haha

Hello question,

Have any of you downloaded the I864 form recently and not get any barcode at the bottom of the page? I am trying to make an updated one for the interview since I have my 2016 tax information but I do not see a barcode underneath the form. I'm I doing something wrong?

I'm tired of NVC. My 8 weeks completed today. I called them and they said that now it's taking 11 weeks. I'm very frustrated right. Now. Next thing you know they changed it to 15 weeks. Please tell me what steps to take. I told them I want to talk to the supervisor and there were no supervisor. She said, one of the supervisor will call you back today. She said that Supervisor will see the same screen as us and they wont be able to do anything. What should I tell the supervisor when I get the call?

you may contact congressman or representative on your state

http://www.house.gov/ - we also tried emailing them, we were told to sign a privacy release form, they might atleast give us a clear explanation (though its stated that they cannot expedite our case, but atleast to hear from them an detailed explanation would be a great help) some said contacting them helped by hearing good news few days after.

or you could wait for the few remaining weeks to reach 11 weeks then request for supervisor review (that may take days to 6 weeks review for them to finish it)

What are the chances that a single checklist item wouldn't take 8-12 weeks to process??????????????????

That's what I got and I sent it in right away on March 2. A week later they said 30 days...maybe sooner. As of Tuesday they said 11 weeks.

I emailed congressman right away after calling nvc. I'm afraid what if my 11 weeks are about to over and they increased the processing time again. By any chance anyone knows how soon we get the reply from the congressman office.

Since my 8 week was completed today, 3 weeks from now will be 13th April, then it might go in supervisor review. Then they will take 2-3 weeks. So There is no way it will be completed before May.

as per the representative i talked to, when on SupRev it would take up to 6weeks

let's hope that you'd get your CC before reaching the 11thweek :)

I'm sure this has been said a million times already...but how do you know NVC has received and is processing your application?

thanks in advance!

you just have to call them and ask " would like to know if our documents are currently being reviewed as of this moment as we speak?"

I hope so too.... I got the same answers multiple times.  I have decided not to call them. I will call them if I see CC's around my scan date but, other than that its pretty useless.

Let me know when you see them 3 N/A's, I will start annoying them

Scan Date January 18

Got checklist today from NVC. They're requesting police certificate even though it was included with civil documents along with bar code sheet!

Scan: 01/17/2017

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask, but has anyone been through their medical?  I was curious to know what kind of medical history people bring.  I rarely see Dr's and have seen numerous different over the years so have no hope of remembering who they were.  Do they just like to know about anything major that may have gone on?

When I went for my medical the doctor focused on my teeth stating that he is looks for signs of drug use or psychiatric issues - he would then send for further medical testing like drug testing if he feels this is indicated. The doctor also said that he frequently has to send people back to their GP to get a better reading of blood pressure, he feels that often the person is too anxious when there for the exam, so he first asks them to sit outside and wait and take a new reading or wait for a new reading at a different day from the persons GP. Other than that he did a general exam including reflexes and felt my stomach. As for medical history they give you a questionaire asking for specific diseases or conditions you may have and if you ever had any accidents or surgeries that required hospitalizations.

Its official I just mailed out my package to NVC :D. I will not call them until 2nd week in May. I refuse to be stress out,  like I was during the I130 stage.

do call just to check whether they received the package, and when is your scan date.

dont stop calling daily unless they gave you your scan date. and start calling them once in a while..

to let them know you are waiting.. and that you wont stand still if they cause too much delay
