Embassy Review : I stayed at a hotel close to the embassy, so I was able to just walk over in the morning. My appointment was for 8:30 and I arrived at 8:00. Two people were already there. Make sure to stay in the short line (not the one for visitor visas). When arriving inside the embassy I had to submit preliminary original documents for them to look at. I waited more than and hour after that before being called. The interview was being conducted through a glass window, so there is not much room for a dialogue - you just have to answer the questions. They asked me when I was married, when my divorce took place and how long I had lived with my daughter (who petitioned for me). The interview took less than 10 minutes. Then I had lots of time to enjoy beautiful Stockholm before flying back home.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
