Hey everyone! I sent my packet on 1st and it looked like it went by pigeon carrier to TX lock box!!  They just received it today! Just waiting for the text/email receipt notification.

I sent my application to Arizona also ?  Just today I got a text and email confirming they received my package. So now I'm just waiting for the check cashed and that notice in mail. Congrats to you! And let's keep each other updated. Best of luck !

Hi all, my card was just charged by USCIS. So here's my timeline so far:

 

2/7 -- Mailed N-400 to Dallas lockbox (USPS priority)

2/9 -- Application received

2/11 -- Credit card charged

 

No text or email notifications just yet. And no NOA either, obviously.

Couple of questions though. 

 

Is there any advantage to either paying by check or Credit Card? 

 

Is USPS the best way to sent documents or is FedEx/UPS etc any better?

And I'm an idiot, because I sent two checks, so really hoping I don't get it sent back. Was thrown by this part on page 14 of the instructions : "Use the following guidelines when preparing your checks or money orders for the Form N-400 filing fee and biometric service fee." So I mailed 2 checks!

 Mine was super slow too, sent on the 3rd and arrived on the 8th. Someone here asked if we should expect it to be slower because we're filing through Texas.  Any idea why?
