Hi there,

 

I am sending my N400 application in tomorrow to the Arizona lockbox...can't wait to finish the last stage of my journey here on VJ!

Hey guys, I had my interview today, it went pretty well! i was interviewed but a very nice lady! She's stoped asking me questions after I got 6 right. I got recommended for approval

I wish I could get it all together by tomorrow! Hopefully this weekend.

 

I do have a question for you guys: my husband came to the US when he was 25, he is now 28. We thought he was automatically registered for the selective service when he applied for LPR status, but apparently that's not how it works. We've requested a Status Information Letter from the Selective Service and we'll include our own separate letter in our packet explaining the misunderstanding -- is this enough? How common is it for men to have their applications denied due to failure to register for the Selective Service?

Hey! It's been a long time since I posted on VJ. Hi everybody! I just sent my application in today.

5/16/08:Received NA01

2/24/09: NA02 APPROVAL... finally, after 9 MONTHS & 8 DAYS!!

5/5/09 : Interview Date APPROVED!!!!

5/8/09: visa received

From NA01 to interview: 12 LONG MONTHS!!

07/23/09: received SSN

08/17/09: Passed Driving test

08/22/09: Married on beautiful Mackinac Island, MI

AOS

08/31/09: Mailed AOS Package

10/20/09: Received AP

10/21/09 Received EAD card

12/7/09 AOS APPROVED!

12/14/09: Green Card arrived in mail. Happy Days!

It's taken 18 months from applying for K1 to receipt of Green Card! Thank God it's over until 12/7/11

Here we go again...

09/14/11: Mailed I-751 to Vermont

09/19/11: NA01

10/14/11: Biometrics

7/2/12: Approved. New Card Ordered

7/7/12: Green Card received

If your husband was like around 30 days before his 26th birthday, they will (SSS) confirm he was NOT required.

 

If however otherwise, you had not registered (not intentional) and describe the facts, the may issue the Status Information Letter, and the IO for the N400 may (I am guessing) just consider it fine.Others can chime in ..

Just mailed my N-400 packet to the Dallas, TX lockbox. Can't believe this is the last stage on the Visa Journey!

I am getting ready to file I400 for my wife she got her GG  05/14/2014 through Marriage from US Citizen . when can I send the package?. also should we expect any delays since our local office is Dallas  

any guidance will greatly appreciated

Hi everyone,  just got an sms confirming receipt of my package at Arizona lock box and my receipt # NBC xxx. And that took less than a week!  Now the wait :)

Hi there, from what I've read and understood from the instructions, you can apply 90days before your 3 year Green card "anniversary"

 

Others can confirm.
