My case was approved on 1/19/2017 and shows sent to DoS 1/27/2017 any idea when nvc should receive it? I was going to start calling NVC around the end of this week. And has anyone else been recently approved?

I was approved 15 days ago, i'm reading topics by VJers and they're saying that it usually takes around 21 days after approval for NVC to receive packets from USCIS. Still playing the waiting game:clock:

I'm going to get my police certificate process started tomorrow because it takes 1 week.

How did you get your case expedited?

They only expedite on very specific criteria.  For us my husband is the sole income (we are abroad) and found out he's losing his job, and his work visa here in NZ will only let him work til June so it'll be too hard with the unemployment rate here to get another job.  Plus we are about to have to move out of our living situation, with a 6 month old baby, and it would cause horrendous financial and emotional hardship to have to relocate while waiting. I actually didn't expect them to say yes, but thankful they did.

In saying that. The expedite email we got is the same wording as a couple of others who stated this type of expedite only shaves off a couple of weeks (I still have to wait for the normal NVC processing "apparently" but will be expedited when it comes to the interview scheduling). But I'm still thankful!

At long last just checked and saw 3 N/A's. Scan date November 15th. Supervisor review January 9th. It's been a long wait but glory be to God.

Almost 12-weeks. A little advice, after four weeks press for your case to be on supervisor review, because once it gets there, there's another line it has to follow, so call nvc asap, I relaxed thus why I think my case delayed
