No. A visa to visit the US does not extend to Canada. They would need their own tourist visas for Canada.

They would be required to get the required visa to gain entry in Canada.

A B1/B2 visa is for the US only, not for Canada.

Even USC's  going into Canada can get denied and hassled upon entry at the boarders or immigrations when flying, and we just need our passport but sometimes can still be difficult.

Actually...I think I may have been mistaken now:

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/751/~/traveling-to-other-countries-while-in-the-u.s.-on-a-b1-or-b2-visa

Can I go to other countries while I'm in the U.S. on a B1 or B2 Visa?

B-1 or B-2 Visas:  During your visit to the U.S., you may visit Canada or Mexico for up to 30 days and re-enter the U.S. as long as you re-enter within the period noted on the Form I-94 which you received when you first entered.

Edit:

Nevermind. I was right the first time. That only covers re-entering the US. You still need a Canadian visa to enter Canada.

No necessarily. If you are a foreign national, but you have a Green Card, you can enter Canada without a visa.

PickTV over here on UK Freeview has pretty much all of them.

The US and Canadian ones are probably the most interesting, a good look at the mistakes people make when dealing with immigration. Everything from shouting and screaming to blatantly lying.

The Australian and New Zealand ones are probably the most amusing. The laid back style down there, even when they're being authoritative can be funny. "Looks like you've got some drugs in your bag mate, let's just have a chat and a joke while we wait for the police to arrive shall we".

I like the UK one because my furure sister-in-law works for UK Border Agency so I keep expecting her to be on it.

What astounds me on all of them is how, even after people get caught in a lie they keep digging themselves deeper. It's as though they think they can outsmart reality.

I would so though, at risk of offending half the forum, what really shocks me is the attitude of a lot of US travellers to other countries when questioned, delayed or denied by immigration.

A lot of the time they act as though a US passport should give them a free pass anywhere in the world.

August 2000: We start e-mailing. I'm in Bosnia, she's in Florida

October 29th 2000: She sends me e-mail asking if I would marry her

October 29th 2000(5 seconds later): I say yes

November 2000: She sends me tickets to Orlando for when I get back

December 6th 2000: Return from Bos

December 11th 2000: Fly to Orlando, she meets me at airport

December 22nd 2000: I fly back to UK

January 3rd 2001: She flies to UK (Good times)

Mid February 2001: Pregnancy test Positive

Mid February 2001: She flies back to US

March 2001: Miscarriage, I fly to US on first flight I can get

May 2001: I leave US before my 90 days are up

June 2001: I fly back to US, stopped at airport for questioning as I had only just left

September 2001: Pregnancy test Positive again

September 2001: She falls sick, I make decision to stay to look after her as I am afraid I may have problems getting back in.

April 16th 2002: Our son is born, we start getting stuff together for his passport

March 6th 2003: We leave US for UK as family

Early April 2003: Family troubles make her return to US, I ask Embassy in London about possibilities of returning to US

April 16th 2003: London Embassy informs me that I will be banned from the Visa Waiver Program for 10 years, my little boys first birthday

June 13th 2006: I-129f sent

August 11th 2006: NOA1 Recieved

After our relationship breaks down she admits to me that she had never bothered to start the application process

I think people dont realize how much USC try to visit other countries and try to leave for a week by 'reseting' the visa lmao!!!
