If your passport it expired you will need to take two passport size photos so they can put the stamp on a card

Really? I never knew about this. I was just breaking my head on trying to get a plane ticket and booking a hotel so I could travel to my embassy to renew my Passport. I do not plan on leaving the country in the near future so I guess I do not need to pay all that money to get to my embassy just to renew my Passport when there's an alternative.

What kind of card would they put the I551 stamp on? Any Ideas?

You know it doesnt replace your passport so you wont be able to travel with it, it just shows your eligibility as a resident, to work, get a driving licence or such. I am not sure what card it comes on probably like a card I should imagine. I only know you can get one as when my GC was stolen they wrote to me and said to come in and get an i551 stamp and if I didn't have a passport to bring two passport size photos. Hope that helps.

Hello Everyone, I have heard that a lot of people they get their citizenship while I 751 pending,  is it true?!

Yes it is becoming increasingly common, with the low priority being placed on I751 applications these days.

The usual course of events seem to be that if your N400 interview comes up whilst I751 is still pending, you will go to the N400 interview, the officer will see that your I751 is outstanding, and adjudicate that - assuming no drama - say your I751 is approved.  Close file.  Open N400, and proceed with that.

It’s happened a ton of times, and nothing to be alarmed about.  Very normal.

N-400 ready to be filed this month. That is if I just get the darn time.

But ’tis a common proof
That lowliness is young ambition’s ladder,
Whereto the climber upward turns his face.
But when he once attains the upmost round,
He then unto the ladder turns his back,
Looks in the clouds, scorning the base degrees
By which he did ascend.

Hi, I have red that someone had a problem with n400 and i751 together, he got the interview for n400 and they refused to give him a decision until his i751 clear , they took three month to proceed July 2016 and June either, so probably we’re gonna take two years from now to be approved, very bad news

I dont think we will have to wait that long, from what it looks our turn could come within the next 6-7 months. If all goes good and smooth.

So I'm trying to get an ADIT stamp for my wife but you need an appointment and every UCSIS office in the San Francisco Bay Area has no appointments available, even Sacramento. Anyone else having this problem?

Check early mornings or right after midnight sometimes. They are most likely to be available then and about 2 weeks in to the future. And remember to write down/screenshot the PIN number as it is needed in case you need to change appointments. They do not send any emails or such for PINS.

Thank you gabreigns, I'll give that a shot! Didn't realize they "reset" appointments every day.

So I tried a bunch of times right after midnight and early morning, still no appointments available. How frustrating. We pay all these fees for such lousy service.
