Hi there,

My N02 was approved on November 11th. It's not December 12th and I have not received anything further in the mail. What is the next few steps till the interview? I have the affidavit with supporting documents and further proof ready for the interview. From what I've heard I wait for a checklist in the mail, check it off fax it to Montreal Consulate, and then wait for them to email me packet 4 to schedule the interview. Is this correct? I am just wondering why it's been so long and I still haven't received a checklist. Am I missing something? I have also tried calling the NVC multiple times and I am on hold for 45 minutes and no one comes to the phone, i end up hanging up.

You can call NVC to get your case number and otherwise wait to the petitioner get a letter from NVC in the mail stating the case number and that your case have been forwarded to the embassy en Canada.

Got this number from another helpful member (Jstryker) 1-603-334-0888 have you NOA2 in front of you when you call NVC.

You could have started calling NVC 14-21 days after your NOA 2 date otherwise NVC will take forever to send you the info.
