This is very common and in fact there is an entire forum dedicated to AP

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/113-waivers-i-601-and-i-212-and-administrative-processes-221g/

You can read of the many others AP situations.

Congrats Debkay. My wife had her interview on April and now she is in AP. I sent an email last week and was told that it can take up to 90 days or longer.

So I guess they are taking their time and nothing I can do. I believe they may ask me to file a waiver due to my wife previous non-immigrant visa misrepresentation. I just hope they reach the decision sooner as waivers take up to 10 months to process.

Do you know reason yours took 6 months in AP? Or they did not provide any answers?

Hallo guys,

I had my k1 visa interview on November 2nd at the Nairobi embassy and was approved. I was even given an approval letter and a small booklet containing my rights as the fiance to a U.S citizen. The CO retained my passport but told me to wait for two weeks for the visa to be issued because they had to verify my police certificate. It has been three weeks since the interview but there has been no update on the CEAC website. It says my visa case is undergoing administrative processing. This is really getting to me. Has anyone been through this? Please share your experiences. This is really frustrating.

Hi!

Did they gave you your visa?

I alredy read it. Thanks
