@Vegasbound, I did include the form G-1145 with my N-400, I haven't received any notification as yet but I also did form G-1450 to pay using my credit card, and I checked my CC account online and there is a pending payment for USCIS for 11/10, so I guess that confirms that they received it. I'm thinking the package is on someone's desk to be processed and as today is a holiday it should be processed and get the email and text next week. Just hold on in there, the journey is just about to begin, in the mean time just practice those citizenship questions, I found an app for Android so when I got some downtime I just run through a batch of questions, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.cm3d.free.uscitizenshiptest&hl=en.

@Jamaican_Gooner - Ok, thanks. I also used the G-1450 for credit card payment and noticed that the payment is pending in my CC account on 11/10. Hopefully we'll get some kind of update next week!

Looks like we have the same filing date, location and we both used the G-1145 and paid by Credit Card. I too noticed they reflect the $680 filing fee as pending on 11/10/16.

What is this date refers to?

The GC date should reflect the day you became a LPR in the United States.

I saw something similar happen in the October filers and they left it. I would leave it as Nana098's progress can be a good indicator for us. Just my opinion.

Anybody knows how to check status online?

They received my citizenship application over 2 weeks ago and cashed the check last week.I have not received any E mail or letter in the mail (NOA) till now. So I have no idea how I could go online to check my status. I know most had the biometrics done shortly after sending the application so I wonder.

First you needed to send form G-1145 e-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance along with your application. If you didn't send it, once you receive the NOA, you will get your receipt number that you can then track online on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do. If you don't receive the NOA in a reasonable amount of time, you can request a copy of your receipt on: http://www.uscis.gov/e-request

Quick question: For addressing the envelop, did anyone put "ATTN: N400" or anything along that line? Or did you just write the address alone?

Hi everyone! Will be sending my app off next week (90 day window starts then)

Quick question: For addressing the envelop, did anyone put "ATTN: N400" or anything along that line? Or did you just write the address alone?

Follow the directions provided under "Where to file" --> https://www.uscis.gov/n-400

Based on the instructions, you only need to include "ATTN: N-400" if you are using Express Mail and courier services.

Timeline after visa approval

Immigrant fee paid on ELIS - Jan 24th

POE - Jan 25th

Update on GC and SSN

(as of March 14th, 2014)

ELIS status - Closed (Card produced)

USCIS case check with receipt number (starts with IOE) - Card delivered in the mail

SSN - Received (Went to SSA location to apply for one)

N-400 Naturalization Process

N-400 package mailed in - Nov 7th

Payment posted on cc account - Nov 10th

NOA (hard copy) - Nov 14th

Biometrics - Dec 7th

Thanks, there's conflicting info on their site.

If you check here -> https://www.uscis.gov/forms/forms-and-fees/general-tips-assembling-applications-mailing

It states "Use the appropriate mailing address and mark both the envelope and the cover letter as to the form type. Example: I-129; I-130; I-690; I-698, etc"

So wanted to see what the general consensus was about following that step by step guide. Seems it doesn't make a difference, thanks again!
