My interview has been scheduled! ?

"On February 02 2017, we scheduled you for your interview and mailed you an interview notice for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxx. Your interview is on March 10, 2017."

There is still no update for the EAD. I hadn't checked the status online for several days because there were no updates so I didn't want to keep worrying about it, but my husband just now checked the mail and walked in the room holding the letter. "Do I dare open it?" he said ?. I started to freak out because I thought it was an RFE so I quickly went to check the status online before opening the letter. Obviously I was surprised, but I'm very happy! Now if only I could get the EAD already! ?

Aww Those are amazing news!! Congrats :):):) We have the same exact dates...but I was wondering from what visa are you adjusting? I am happy for you!

Now I'm wondering if I should take all my old passports to the interview. On the list of documents I should bring it says "All travel documents used to enter the United States, including passports, advance parole documents, and I-94s."

My passports go back all the way to when I was six years old, and I definitely don't have any of the I-94s from each time I visited (which are a lot) other than the one from the last time I entered. So I'm confused about that. ?

Every time I went to the embassy for my visas appointments, they asked me to bring all my passports with US Visas...I took them without the I-94 and they never asked for it...So I would say you are okay with that (But someone correct me if I am wrong)

Also remember you can download your I-94's of the last 5 years online. https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/#/home

I think you will be fine :)

Ah shoot! Getting all my old passports sent to me will be a challenge if uscis really wants to see them ? I guess I should try to gather everything just in case. Thank you!

Our time will come :) almost everyone who is getting updates are adjusting from other visas than k1/k2.

It makes me question myself why I didn't use my tourist visa but anyway, we just need to be a little more patient :) I am sure it will come (:

Hi Ani

After reading a few threads about this I'm convinced is nothing to worry about. It does however suck haha.

Like boo&mica mentioned I feel uneasy too about the whole political thing, specially being from Mexico. My AP was mailed to me but I wouldn't feel safe traveling out of the country until I have my green card.

I just want this over with :(

I know is hard. I hope you can make it to you interview. I feel so bad about this.  But you're rigth political issues are going to delay all the process.  When is your appointment?

There are still ppl being approved from late October as well. It just means that that is the very latest applications that got an answer. Soooo although keep your hopes up to be among the earlier ones out of the group, don't be too discouraged if you don't hear anything too soon.. :)

How long will it take to get my package returned from USCIS? It was delivered on 01/17/17 but I forgot to add $85 for biometrics. Wondering if anyone had the same experience. I've been waiting for 3 weeks with no news.
