Alright, you still have some time. Opening a  joint bank account is super easy. Even if it is not in the same bank that you already have an account at. There are plenty of things you can bring to the interview. What about utility bills? rental agreements? mail under both of your names with the same address. Dental, health, car, or life insurance. If you get your EAD, you can also go and get your driver's license which shows your current address.

If you added him on your account, what you can do is go to customer service at the bank and ask them to write a letter stating the date where you added him.

Hello November filers! So our 485 status just changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"  Our local office is Washington DC but we had no interview We are adjusting from K1 visa.

Try going to Bank of America. My husband tried to add me to his main account from another bank but they wouldn't do it because I don't have a ssn. We went to BofA and even though they really needed me to have two forms of IDs, they let me open the account (the only ID i had was my passport but the guy who helped us was super nice and said an old bank card with my name on it would be fine as a second ID, thankfully I still had one from a previous account lol). I don't know if this is different in other states though but it's worth a try.

Same at BofA where I went... passport and something else with your name on it.

Since someone from nov 7th mentioned their status changed a few days ago I've been checking the iPhone app every couple hours

I had strange thing happen earlier....

Currently I have i485 - Ready to be scheduled for interview

                          i765 - Case Received

                          i131 - Case Received

 

Earlier I got a notification for my app. I thought I had struck gold and my EAD card would be in production as thats what I'm expecting next. However, my 3 cases had changed to:

    i131 - Case Received

    i765 - Case Received

    i131 - Case Received

 

My I485 changed to another Advanced parole message but with my i485 Case number. 

 

It did change back around 5 minutes later but it was a bit of a scare haha!

 

My Noa is November 29th so I'm hoping for my EAD in the next few weeks! Congrats to everyone that has reached that stage already! :)

haha yes, Then i got excited thinking oh well they have obviously gone into my case for a reason.... but no.... no change haha!
