alpine milk?

Hello fellow pinoys,

want to ask if this is true.

a friend of mine has been treated with PTB and is definitely has a scars in his lungs. but when he did his medicals last year his xrays was negative, he told me to drink alpine before medical. how true is this?anyone willing to confirm this theory?

That makes, like, zero sense. Unless of course someone is suggesting breathing in the milk rather than drinking it.

Scars likely lessen over time, and possibly his were no longer of concern to the doctors (or they were, and they cleared him via other methods).

There is absolutely nothing you can do to disguised an illness especially TB. Besides, why would you want to hide something that will KILL you! That doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't want someone to come in contact with me who is trying to CHEAT the system because it can effect my life.

Hi.. done with my medical last sept 28th and 29th for my immunization.. 3wks before my medical at slec, i drnk a lot of bear brand sterilized milk.. not sure if it did really help me passed my xray, but two weeks before my medical i was sick been coughing so hard and lots of phlegm. I was scared they will see some scars on my lungs. Sooo sterilized milk has been my bestfriend hahaa but, nothings wrong in trying.. good luck on you medical.. and hoping for the best

it is an old wives tale very popular to OFW and Filipino Seafarer where passing the medical exam is needed for them to be issued fit to work papers. They believe that drinking sterilized milk the day of your medical test will make your lungs look white and clean. LOL.

But no harm in trying, milk is good for your health, just be careful in you are lactose intolerance tho.

I find the entire premise behind this distasteful as well. An immigrant coming in with TB and possibly spreading to to my family and maybe even killing a child? Disgusting.

i don't have a TB but false positive result seen in xray results has been very alarming. like if there is a false positive unsusualities in your xray then you will udnergo a sputum c/s and that alone will delay you for months and the result is as always, 95% of the time is negative.
