It went pretty well. I took him on my lunch we were in and out in less than 30 mins. Just waiting for any updates at this point forward

Im glad everything went well for him, praying for you guys to have an easy and fast process. My Bio appointment is on Monday 21st which also My Dad'd Bday :) hopefully mines goes as smooth as you guys.

Got USCIS update notifications this morning. I765 /I131 approved and EAD card production with AP on 11.14.2016. I guess early October filers advance faster than expected!

Quick Time Line

9.30.2016: Mailed I-485 package

10.2.2016: Received at Chicago Lockbox

11.4.2016: Bio Walkin (originally scheduled on 11.7)

11.14.2016: EAD card production (with AP)

We had our Bio appointment today in Santa Rosa CA.

Went in at 8.00am and all the 4 of us were out at 8.30am. The people there are super kind and helpful and really efficient.

Now let's cross fingers and hope that things move fast!

Received hard copy NOAs and biometrics appointment on 11/12, two days after our baby was born. Will be doing biometrics in Gardena on 11/23, glad its on a day that I don't work mornings. Guess the next step is waiting for RFEs for medical my wife could not complete and whatever else they want to ask us about.

Woohoo! My husband's status for his EAD was changed just now to "we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxxxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us."

(But his AP remains unchanged)

Probably - you can check the other forums, timelines, and processing times page to see how fast your visas AOS tends to be. I am sure there are other factors involved as well. For example, with K1 AOS there seemed to be chunks processed every two weeks. So they may have specific days set aside for processing queues.

Hello,

Im glad to be joining this. I came here on B2 visa and filed for both I485 and I130 last 9/24. I got my mailed letter of confirmation last Oct 11 and received another letter for Biometrics last Oct 25; finished my biometrics last Nov 9 and im waiting to hear back from them regarding approval of my EAD. I hope we all got positive results before Thanksgiving! :)

Went in with my husband for his biometrics, 2nd attempt as the 1st was a failed walk-in. We walked in at 1:25 and left at 2:00PM at the Brooklyn office. Fingers crossed the case will move quickly now.... Ahh!

(day 5) Text update that NOA was mailed 10/28/2020

(day 113) Biometric reuse letter mailed 2/12/2021

(day 279) Text saying there is an update to our cases, interview scheduled for August 26, 2021 7/29/2021

(day 322) Oath ceremony will be scheduled 9/10/2021

(day 327) Oath ceremony scheduled for Oct 1st 9/14/2021

(day 343) Oath ceremony complete & certificate received! Applied for US passport same day. 10/1/2021
