My case status since 3rd of October says "Ready", so it's into embassy But when I checked the ceac site I saw a change, the AOS fee changed back to PAID. This is something normal or what?

For Nigerians, I Called the consultant/children practice at Ikoyi and was told my medicals would cost 170k Naira((that is so high OMG). And result would be out after two weeks

huh! This must be a mistake. I suggest going there to reconfirm. I did mine sometime in JULY for around 35-40k. I want to believe there has been a mix up or miscommunication. Or could it be as a result to the FX fluctuation

Hi All, Trust everyone is well.

I am now in the US (Atlanta) with hubby. My POE was JFK and my flight arrived 5.55am on Saturday so the airport was not busy. The only queues were people on the vistors visa.I was lead to the queue of 'first timers' and no queue. The Officer was pretty nice asked a few question and that was it; he didn't even take the CD from the medicals. I was done in 5minutes. The officer said 'welcome to America and I'll miss u' LOL

Got a message from 2GO express this morning. passport will be delivered today ?????????. 4 days after they issued the visa. yeheh

There are hike in medical after august, basically starting oct 1 due to the new test made compulsory by CDC, for gonorrhea. I would definitely call and make sure what the hike is for.

all medicals being done starting october has to do this test. my hubby did.

My wife and kids are going to medical exams today. Urine exam for Costa Rica is $65.00 for 3 day results or $83.00 for same day results.

My husband's is about $220 US (and yes, price increase from September). They won't even schedule his appointment until two weeks before the interview, and in the list of vaccines there are things I know he doesn't need--I've read the bulletin for physicians. Yellow fever, for instance. My assumption is the clinic makes a lot of money off people who can't protest. I plan on writing to the embassy... AFTER my husband has successfully immigrated! It's also possible the doctor isn't reading the instructions correctly or has been misinformed. In any case, I'm not going to argue.

Praise God. My wife's Green Card came yesterday. it only took 42 days. Things are moving on well. Good luck to everyone. God will see you all through.
