Just hang in there and wait. It depends on how fast your local office is. Check the processing times and it will give you an idea of when to expect an interview. You can always try to get your senator or congressman involved to try and get your interview scheduled earlier or later.

10/04/16: Package (I485, I130, I765, I131) sent to Chicago Lockbox via Priority USPS

10/05/16: NOA1 Package received

10/18/16: Hard copies received

10/26/16: Appointment letter for Biometrics

11/01/16: RFIE: birth certificate joint sponsor missing

11/08/16: Biometrics

11/22/16: RFIE received

12/14/16: I485 Case is ready to be scheduled for interview

12/19/16: Service request for I765 (day 76)

12/23/16: Letter in mail stating that I765 is within normal processing times

01/03/17: EAD card in production (day 91) later changed to Case Approved

01/03/17: I131 AP case approved

01/06/17: Card has been mailed (day 94)

01/11/17: Card in hand :jest: (day 99)

Just got notified that we will have our AOS interview on February 1st, in Detroit. Was hoping for no interview, but at least we'll have sooner rather than later.

As others have said, just wait. My case has been ready to schedule an interview since October and I've still got nothing so far. I think this waiting part is worse than the others... :clock:

Though I did just change my address as well (but I'm still in the same state, and last I heard I was still at the NBC not a local field office) -- anyone know if that affects the timeline?

If you're still at NBC (word on the street) that most likely means you'll be approved without an interview. Albeit does take longer for some reason.

I totally agree with you!! As K-1 adjustment applications we are almost all "interview waivable". Once I started seeing that the percentage of interview waivable applicants had a much longer delay than those with interviews scheduled - that's when I started praying for a interview lol!! You'd think the interview waivable ones would be taken care of much faster - but leave it to USCIS/NBC to make it harder on us for some unknown reason :/

11/23/16: I-765 was approved. Card ordered (Expedite processing/Job offer)

05/15/16: Interview scheduled for 6/13/17

6/13/17: Interview. Not approved in the spot. IO wanted to check for gonorrhea test on I-693. She said maybe we could get RFE.

6/19/13: I-797C Letter on the mail. I-130 was approved. 

6/26/17: Email update: Green card production was ordered on 6/24/17

6/29/17: Email saying card was mailed on 6/28/17

6/30/17: We received the card. 

6/30/17: Waiting for ROC in 2 years (6/13/19)

You have to call in to customer service and ask but may have to get transferred to Tier 2 for that level of detail since Tier 1 doesn't have much info.

After I filed my AOS packet and I got my NOAs, my case (edit: on the USCIS case status website) updated to "We accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case." Since then I've had no notification or letters saying anything about a field office or a different Benefits Center.

Unfortunately, they do not update the online status when/if the case is transferred to a local office - only when the interview is scheduled or "ready to be scheduled". My online status went directly from the one you mentioned to "interview scheduled".

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

Well dang! I guess I'll have to follow Maria's advice and call and see if I can find out if I've been moved from the NBC... Congrats on your interview btw and good luck!

Whenever the case is ready to be scheduled for interview it means it is moved to the local field office. If not, it means they are still reviewing the case at NBC
