My husband just told me I got a letter from USCIS, but he won't open it! He says it's mine and he doesn't want to deprive me of the excitement of opening it myself, haha.

Good afternoon I apply to remove my conditions on august 7 and after waiting for a long time from california service center just got my biometrics today date for the beginning of october, so those who are waiting just be calm and wait like i did think in another things, i just told my self when i got desperate i have my extension letter so biometrics will come some day and it happen.

The letter was dated Sept 24, so either our service request had an *immediate* effect on a Saturday (unlikely, but who knows?), or else it's just coincidence and we were in the pipeline anyway.

Got an email from my lawyer today that my biometrics in Oct 13th 2pm, they received the notice instead of me, weird. Also I suppose they used my lawyers address for the biometrics placement, because I have to go to Miami rather than West Palm Beach which is closer to me. Wow this has been a close call. Picking up my notice monday and will try and get an early walk-in next week. Phewww....

I just called USCIS and I chose to talk to someone in Spanish (not that it matters) and the guy who took my information was very nice and explained me that the biometrics letter appointment is normally issued no later than 30 days after application of I-751 and that I should have gotten mine any time after Sep 02. He opened a service request and gave me a reference number which will identify my case if I have to call again. He told me to wait 15 days up to 30 to receive any type of communication from USCIS in regards of my case, but I can call again as early as 15 days from now to check what is going on. I try to not get stressed out or nervous, specially when I see that no one who sent package to California in this forum, hasn't received the letter either. Not a consolation because we all should be on track like everyone else.

I have been reading all the posts since I received notification to my email, but I am not really active because I am swamped with school.

I'll give an update as soon as I get any news in my case.

On Sept 20 I called USCIS and a service request was opened for my case, today I finally saw that glorious envelope with those blue letters "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services". My biometrics appointment is set for 11/10/2016 and the letter is dated 9/24/2016, four days after my call.

I think everyone who sent package to CSC will be getting their biometric letters within days now.

My hubby got his biometrics letter today! I'm so glad because I've been stressed all week wondering if I should've called for an update from uscis. His appointment is scheduled for the 11th, but I'm thinking he'll go next week. Yay!
