Ok leaning towards the electronic filing and just scanning to PDF the other Boni fides I wan to include....In the naming file do you add the number in from NOA1 for example YSC 169+++++++ that I got at the Potomac service center or does NVC give you a different number?

Name the files as: CaseNumber_FirstName_LastName_XX_File_Description.pdf

• CaseNumber - in your case, it should begin with SYD, followed by numbers
• FirstName and LastName - are the Beneficiary's first and last names
• XX - Numbers (00, 01, 02, 03, etc.) to keep all files in order
• File_Description - Description of what document the file contains (ex: Petitioner_Form_I-864_Signed, Petitioner_Tax_Transcript_2014, Marriage_Registration_Certificate, etc ).
• Example of complete filename: SYDxxxxxxxxxx_FirstName_LastName_07_Petitioner_Tax_Transcript_2014.

Did you call NVC to get your case number?. Its a different number from USCIS Number. It would be on your Welcome email sent from NVC when they scan it.

OK now I understand no I didn't get my number yet I was trying to get ahead of things and naming all my files and attachments , thought they used same number as USCIS

No worries. We all jump the gun. But once you get the number you can actually send all files EP after you pay AOS and before IV. I did and it worked fine

I read the instruction, scan the documents to PDF, a different file for each document. You can set some scanners of all-in-one to remove the background and "optimize" the final file. Or you can use another program to reduce the file size, such as Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Can you create a zip file?

No it has to be a pdf.

They wont unzip anything or dl off of a cloud like google drive.
