Yes, a 25 year age difference can be an issue, especially if the man is younger and/ or it is not culturally appropriate in the beneficiary's country. It can be overcome though. What helps are a lot of "face time", it time spend together, especially if you live together for a while, Family having met, and being is support, can also help.

If the age difference is such that the woman is beyond the age that would be reasonable for her to bear children (or nearing the end of it) and the man is much younger with no children, this can be a red flag and he may well be asked to explain how he feels about never being able to experience fatherhood.

We have an 8-year age gap and my husband thought this would be a problem but we are in our 40s and in western countries this gap is not considered unusual.

For most of the Asian countries, if the Man is the older of the 2 in the age separation, there is little to no issue, as this is common practice.
