I just did fronts. I had 4 cards x 2 (1 ATM/Debit card, and 3 credit cards) - and just put all 8 cards on the scanner. Didn't do the backs.

Included copies of the front of the CC. Hopefully they will see the same a/c # on both cards. Also, included copies of the monthly statements showing both our names.

I included front copies of both joint cards, although they showed different numbers - I also sent the bank statements so they can see they belong to the same joint account.

We have 2 credit cards as my husband as an authorized user (not joint) so the statements only show my name. However, both of our cards show the same account number. Is this an acceptable form of proof? Thanks.

Account Statements are better than Cards. For Example I have 2 Cards for myself from Capital One that she is an authorized user on. We both have our own cards, both cards draw from the same Account. However each card has a different number.

The account statement is the only way to prove that it is a joint account.

I understand. I can provide our account statements however they only have my name on it since I am the primary cardholder. We have 2 Chase credit cards and it doesn't show on our statements on who charged what as it is counted as being just 1 account. I'm not quite sure if there is a form we can find in Chase portal where it will state that my husband is an authorize user. Like I said, the only thing we have our both actual card with the same account number. Thoughts on how else I can provide more proof that we share those 2 credit card accounts?

Anyone can be an authorized user on a credit card account, and an authorized user doesn't share contractual responsibility, and he or she can be taken off the account at any time. If it is not a joint account, then its not good for proof of financial co-mingling. Having said that, you can send the account statements along with copies of both credit cards if you don't have other evidences.

However for the credit card, since my husband is still paying off his credit card debt accrued before our marriage, we decided that we will not open a joint credit card account but we will only add him to my already existing credit card accounts as an authorized user. With that said, is it ok for me to include copies of our credit cards with same account numbers AND credit card statements with only MY name on them? Thanks.

If the spouse is an authorized user, include the statements and copies of fronts of cards so that it shows you both use this account.

Is it ok if doesn't say who charged what exactly? for Chase statements, the last card numbers used to charge does not show. it simply just shows the charges without any way of finding who charged what between my husband and i. should i still include the statements?

Then it's up to you. You don't seem to want to do it, so don't. In the end it's your petition.
