These are just intended to highlight that there is basically very progress on EAD and Advance Parole is progress is being made which is what we should expect given the experiences of people in the April and May filers groups. We're not being left behind

Whoops with typos. The above should read "These are just intended to highlight that there is basically very little progress on EAD and Advance Parole for June filers (or at least those that were filed the same day as me). That little progress progress is to be expected though given the experiences of people in the April and May filers groups (and basically all the guidance we're given on VJ about EAD/AP timelines). As such, we shouldn't worry that we've not heard anything back yet - we're not being left behind, the adjudicators just haven't got to us yet."

Hi a quick question to vj's family ,hope u all doing great

Is the USCIS status "a request for initial evidence was mailed"

Any different from RIFE. Or is it a form of RFE ? Where they may need anything ?

Thanks

RFIE - return for initial evidence... RFE - return for evidence... There self explanatory RFIE is for initial evidence that is mandatory for you to submit that was not included like taxes or translation of birth certificate... RFE can be they just want more evidence to add to what you already sent it or you forgot a signature on paperwork or something

Hey everybody I just received a notification from the USCIS saying "Your Case Status: Card/ Document Production". Is that even possible??? I mean I didn't receive my NOAS yet and did not receive a letter for the biometric appointment. I will call them tomorrow because it HAS to be a mistake. Why are they playing with my emotions like this ? LOL

is that for the I-485?? I think it may be an error cause they need to atleast do your biometrics before they can approve the green card... I would call and ask to be transferred to a tier 2 to see if this is an error or legit... Normally that status means you got approved without interview

Yes it for the I-485. I will call them tomorrow because I KNOW this is a mistake. I'm not even excited about it.

Could it be for your AP/EAD? It is not unusual for them to be approved without interview.
