Just received my Green Card today We didn't get called into an interview! My card is valid for 10 year though.... That has to be a mistake, right?

Nice one, it's good to see some progress happening for people with similar biometrics dates to me. What visa are you adjusting from? Seems to be no particular reason why some K1s are waived and not others.

I filed for i-485 only and adjust from tourist visa.

Yes, the population of Montana is super low, thats why the field office is not backed up at all. They are even accepting other ppl from a different state, they just have to travel longer but will get appointments faster.

april 1st: sent i-485 to chicago lockbox

april 4th: i-485 delivered to chicago lockbox

april 7th: "biometrics fee received and accepted"

april 10th: email notification of acceptance and routing to NBC for processing

april 11th: hardcopy i-797C in mail (notice date april 8th)

april 30th: received biometrics letter for: may 11th @ 9am

june 2nd: received interview letter for: july 6th @ 11.10am

july 6th: Interview day---no decision was made

july 13th: sent e-mail to congressman, asking for an inquiry on my case.

5/5/2016 - sent docs to Chicago, AGAIN (i-485, i-130, i-765, i-864) [Day 0] 5/16/2016 - NOA [Day 11]

5/6/2016 - delivered and signed up for by R Mercado [Day 1] 7/20/2016 - called to submit a service request for my EAD. [Day 76]
5/12/2016 - checks cashed [Day 7] 7/28/2016 - case numbers for i-130 and i-765 started working to say case was received on May 6 [Day 84]

5/16/2016 - got 3 NOAs in the mail, dated May 12, priority date is 7/29/2016 - case status of I-765 is "New Card Is Being Produced", later in the evening - "Case Was Approved" [Day 85]

May 6 (haven't received any emails or texts) [Day 11] 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

6/10/2016 - got biometrics letter in the mail, notice date is June 4, 2016, which 8/1/2016 - received answer for the service request "your case is under review" [Day 89]

is day 30 from when they picked up the package [Day 36] 8/2/2016 - case status of I-765 is "The Card was Mailed to you" [Day 90]

6/21/2016 - Biometrics walk-in in Philadelphia [Day 47] 8/4/2016 - received I-797 Notice of Action for approved I-765 [Day 92]

6/22/2016 - Scheduled Biometrics Appointment [Day 48] 8/5/2016 - EAD in mail [Day 93]

6/30/2016 - online case status started working "case is ready to be scheduled

for the interview" [Day 56]

8/9/2016 - Interview is Scheduled [Day 97]

Is this update on your case online? Or did you receive it by mail?

03/15/16. Sent out I-130 and AOS package but instead of filing it concurrently, I misunderstood and filed it separately.

03/23/16. Phoenix lockbox transferred our case (I-130 only) to Nebraska, cashed check, received NOA via text/email.

03/28/16. Received NOA1 I-130 hard copy by USPS

04/08/16. Received the package that we sent to Chicago. Case rejected due to improper filing? We sent it back to Chicago together with I-130 NOA 1 that we received last week (also RFE just in case too) sameday.

04/11/16. Package I-485, I-765 arrived at Chicago lockbox the second time.

04/19/16. Received NOA1 for I-485&I-765 via Text&email with new case number. They also cashed the check today.

05/02/16. Received Biometric letter, scheduled on May 9

05/09/16. Biometric completed

05/25/16. I-485 Case updated online, case is ready to be scheduled

06/29/16. I-130 Case updated online, case was transferred..

06/30/16. Submit USCIS E-request to update/expedite I-765

07/11/16. Received EAD By mail

09/09/16. Interview date is scheduled on Oct 14

10/14/16. Approved, status changed to New card is in production

10/15/16. Status online for I-130 & I-485 updated to Case was approved

10/20/16. Status online for I-485 updated to Card was picked up by USPS with tracking number.

10/21/16. Received NOA2 for I-130 & I-485

10/22/16. Received the card from USPS ?

Hi all,

About 2-3 weeks after an expedite request for my EAD, I received my combo card! Talking to lawyers in the area, everyone had said it's unlikely to work but go ahead and give it a shot. If you are waiting for an EAD for a job offer like I was, definitely worth trying.

It's on the online case tracker and we got an e-mail. In both notifications it states the date and further instructions ( what to bring for the interview..) will be in the actual letter, which they have sent out and i am awaiting in the mail now.

Just got status update - 765/131 approval. Hopefully card production goes smoothly - 2 weeks until my OPT runs out, 3 weeks until I need to travel internationally for work. Requested expedite 5/23, submitted evidence 5/27. Had an RFIE on 485 for 864 employer letter/paystubs/new tax returns a month ago; looks like they finally got around to reviewing the response.

My employer is letting me work until my expiration date in July but what's making me nervous is that she's starting the process to hire someone new before I even leave. It really doesn't give me much room to keep my position. She said I can reapply for it but it's just a drag. I'm hoping the RFE isn't going to impact my EAD coming that much... Fingers crossed!

25th March'2016- Sent out the application via UPS to Chicago.

29th March'2016- Package received. (day1)

4th April'2016- Received 4 Text SMSs and 4 E-mails from the USCIS notifying my case has been received and routed to National Benefits Center for Processing. (day 6)

5th April'2016- Checks have been cashed. (day 7)

7th April'2016- NOA received in mail . (day 9)

2nd May'2016- Received Biometric Appointment Letter(day 33)

5th May'2016- Walked In 8;30am for early Biometric Appointment( In and out in 12 minutes)(day 36)

12th May'2016- Biometric Appointment Schedule

24th May'2016- Received RFE for Form I864( Tax Returns, Pay Stubs)(day 55)

26th May'2016- Sent out the evidence for RFE (day 57)

1st June'2016- Received notification that the RFE package was received. Case status website updated (day 56)

2nd June'2016- Put in a request for Change in Address for all the 4 applications. Received Confirmation mail the same day(day 57)

6th June'2016- Address change request was completed.(day 61)

11th June'2016- Letter of Address change confirmation was received. (day 66)

23rd June'2016- Called USCIS asked to spoke a Tier 2 officer was called back on the third attempt after 8 hours and spoke about confirmation of address change. (day 78)

24th June'2016- Status change for EAD only "New Card is being produced" (day 79)

29th June'2016- Card was mailed to me at the mentioned date(day 84)

2nd July'2016- Card received in mail (day 87)

9th August'2016- Interview scheduled for September 13th(day 125)

16th August'2016- Interview cancelled.(day 132)

13th September'2016- Attended the interview and was told my file wasn't available at the local office. (Day 163 )

29th October'2016- Rescheduled the interview for December 1st. (Day 209)

1st December'2016- Judgement Day RELOADED!(Day241)

2nd December'2016- New card is being produced!(Day 242)

6th December'2016- STATUS CHANGED TO NEW CARD HAS BEEN MAILED. (Day 246)

8th December'2016- Received USPS tracking code to track my GC. Scheduled for delivery on 14th December'16.

OK, so I had to call there, because you people here are just stressing me out!!! :D I couldn't take it.

And what I found out? Well, the last thing she can see is that they sent me RFE on May 9th! So they haven't even opened my RFE response (If they even received it) or anything. She said that once they work on that, the online status will change, which basically meant to f*** off and don't call again... :D

Well, the call center guys just read the status what you can read online as well(waste of time and money of the tax payers coz they really dont help) if a tier 2 officer says that then its something to worry. However, trudi kind of explains your situation the officer who is handling your case didnt update it.. I am sure it is getting along...

I called, he said it's up to the individual officer dealing with a case to update the website tracker and as long as USPS tracker says it was delivered I can do nothing but wait for 60 days from the receipt date

Ah well, that'll teach us to miss a signature!

Well that explains a lot of other's not getting their notifications..but I don't know why the officers would do that its just more assuring to get that notification....sorry you had to go through that wait...its getting unbearable....
