Local US CIS Office Review: Santa Ana CA

Event Description
Review Date : October 15, 2016
Embassy Review : We had the interview earlier today at Santa Ana office. Approved on spot. It was on time. ( actually my husband said it was 10 minutes before our appointment 😊) The officer just asked general questions (checking information on the forms mostly) and checked if we have the original documents of the birth certificate for both of us and our marriage certificate. He asked how we met, timeline and what I was doing before, any new documents we want to submit. It was a friendly interview for about 30 minutes. Last thing, he asked if we both were wearing the wedding ring/band.

I asked for the stamp on passport. The officer that interviewed us gave a document requested for the stamp on my passport but the staff at the documents counter on the first floor told us to wait for the actual card by mail. And if we don't get in within a month then just go back there again 😐

So, thank you so much for all VJ members and good luck for everyone 😉
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
