We've been approved! NOA1 date was January 4, but the RFE slowed us down by about a month. They approved us after three business days of receiving our RFE response. Yay!

As for me, I'm done collecting all the documents I need for the interview, medical, and CFO seminar. All I'm missing is the nvc case number so that I can start with the DS-160.

In my fiance's excitement, he booked a flight to Manila in May so that he can stay with me until such time that we can leave for the US together. Hopefully my visa gets approved by July. :)

In the Philippines, he can accompany me during the interview, right?

You'll have to check info on your embassy on this site. They usually give info based on others' experiences so it'll say if you're allowed to bring your fiance

My case status at the embassy is now "Ready"! Will be filling in the DS-160 today.

Congrats!! Don't take my date hahaha Next available date is May 12th!!!

So does that mean you can send the notice of readiness before you do the medical? You just have to have the medical scheduled? Does it ask you about the medical on the notice of readiness?

I've gotten a few different answers and I'm just wondering so I can let my fiancee know when the time comes :)

Mine was there less than two days. Call every day it shouldn't be there long at all

I got my case number the same day they received our application, it shouldn't take more than a couple of days.
