I can't expedite. I have 153 days from when I filed AOS/EAD/EAD but they not approve me. I made all kind of service request but nothing help. I filed EAD because they messed up my ssn and I need it to can take one. I need ssn to can take drive license. I am in USA from 7 months and I am stuck in house. I can't go anywhere till my hubby come from work. I hate depends of somebody.

I filed from my son too in 19 January and even for him not have any news. I don't know what they do there. This week I will call them again.

Sorry to hear it's taking so long and difficult. You didn't have a driver's license in your country before coming? If so, you can use it for one year in PA before having to get a new one.

Hi Everyone,

Just to share our update. Hubby and I went to interview yesterday. Thank God we got a super friendly lady. She made jokes with us and all. Only question she asked was How did you guys meet. And she asked if we had any other proofs like documents or pictures. We brought 2 picture albums with us, we gave them to her, she took the time to look at all pictures in both albums, then she started typing and said " I am ordering your new card" She then told us about ROC and said to gather all docs and proofs. She did not look at anything I prepared in our binder that I put together. Also, she did NOT take my hubby EAD/AP card nor did she asked to see it. Only thing she asked to see was his license and Passport, she did take his I-94 and that was it. She said we should get the card within 8-10 business days

Now, i kept checking our status online and it still says "Interview schedules" it has not changed yet. Is that normal, how long does it usually take, for those who have been to interviews?? and how long did it take to get the actual card in the mail?? Is it normal also that hubby still has his EAD/AP card??

Thanks and Good luck to those still waiting, I know how frustrating it is.

Congrats! Uscis system is acting funny these days, so I would not be surprised it will take a while to show the update online to the card being produced and sent. Sometimes they take the cards back, sometimes don't. I read yesterday someone saying the officer told them to throw the card out but didn't ask for it.

Can you tell me what kind of proof you had with you? I'm getting worried about having an interview, even if I'm way ahead of myself.

Have you prepared the documents needed for the interview?

No we've not yet prepared much. I will be printing up many pictures of us and family as well as our wedding day.

I was going to scroll through this post to see what other evidence and documents we need to bring to the interview.

I have a question for those who had received GC after AOS interview. we had our interview on June 7th,we've been approved and the lady even showed us the paper where it said approved. the online status is still stuck on "Interview is scheduled and it's been almost a week and I am starting to get worried because I see almost everyone had status changed within a day a two after interview. Is that normal?? Anything we can do on our end to find out more??
