Just wanted to say a huge congrats to you both! But just for clarification, is your scan date 11/25 and also the date you sent them. Did you email your documents? Is that why the scan date and the date sent is the same?

Scan date 14th December. Day 21 today and still no CC. I'm getting very impatient

I feel your pain, I suggest you add more patience, you might be waiting another 20 days.

Just to give you perspective, Im 36 days and no CC yet, they havent even started reviewing my case yet (as of today) so I suggest to gather all the patience you can as they seem to be backed up a week or two...

Furthermore, others have scan dates of 11/25 and only one person has seen CC and just today...

Hang in there!

I got the letter saying my case has been forwarded to the consulate in Jamaica on 12-26-15... What exactly is my fiancé waiting for in the mail from the consulate at this point? I'm so confused between packets and interviews, etc

All the best with the call, let us know what they say.

Okay, so I got off the phone with a really nice lady. She told me that it should not be a big enough delay to worry or to send another packet with the cover letter. She also let me know that it was too early on for them to have opened my packet and to call back at the end of the week and they should be able to give me new information! So if you haven't recently called I would, maybe that can help close your case sooner! (:

So just found out we were placed on Supervisor review on Dec 29th. The operator noted that the were looking at my case as we spoke ( not sure I could take this seriously), and that it wouldn't add an additional 30 days. She also mumbled something about interview scheduling, but I was too busy stressing about supervisor review to pay full attention.
