Us too. Ours received on December 10th. I just have terrible visions of that package back in my mailbox. All squished and mangled from being jambed back in our tiny apartment box - all the work to keep the pages nice and straight, ruined! Then, I open the package (which isn't too hard because the cardboard is nearly deteriorated as if it has been in the desert sun for 50 days) and I find a rejection letter because his name is wrong. I look through the pages and all the tabs, but one thing is missing....the filing fees! They kept the filing fees! Dejected, I fall to my knees and fight back tears as we need to start all over again; waiting another two weeks for a pay period in which I devote over 45 hours paying for all the filing fees again.....

Then I shake off those thoughts and think to myself, "Just wait one more day.... Maybe tonight...."

Don't worry yet. I got my texts notifications 11 days after filing and hard copies only today.

My husband (lives in a different state) got the NOA for the I-765 and I-1485 in the mail. I got all three texts and emails for the I-130, I-765, and I-485. I called USCIS and they said that sometimes they don't mail a hard copy of the I-130 NOA.

Hey there, thanks for letting us know. I did not receive my hardcopy of I-131 AP either. I guess I should call up USCIS and enquire too.

That's so vivid I shuddered. ??

Not only you...

@Amhara - when we filed the I-129f, it took 12 days until we got the text NOA1. and then it was dated like five days earlier for some reason. Took another three weeks from that until we got the paper NOA1. I was going out of my mind, thinking it got lost, because others already had it much earlier :) It will come! Is has to. It better.

Yeah, you guys are right. I called USCIS a few hours ago and they said it can take about 10 days. She said that I can make the correction over the phone so the petition won't be rejected. Mena - I got through rather quickly today and the number is (800) 375-5283 if you want to call too.

Is it an i-797 or an i-797c? Cause I'mean fairly certain unless you have the work permit or the i-797 you can't get a drivers license :( which is why I wanna get mine before my i94 is up so I have it done and out of the way, just to renew and remove conditions with ead/i-797

Congrats! I am happy to see our 'December team's' progress! Lol! Depending on your field office, your biometrics letter may come in two to four weeks and the appointment may also be for two to four weeks from that letter.

My brother in law is in NC, but he came on an IV, so he got an NC license easily. It looks for your state, you may need EAD. But keep positive! You may have that in about two months!

Btw guys :3 if you don't already have the USCIS case status app, I suggest you download it cause it's definitely a time saver since we're all trying to follow at least 2 case Files here. Plus this way you'll definitely get the notification as soon as you get the update! You won't have to scramble through numbers and have to remember like 15 different ones.

This process seems to be different with the different states,i am in Washington and i got my state ID valid for 6 years with no problems at all,i had the driving permit which was valid till my next birthday jan 2016 and i had the driver licence this December. it was really easily getting everything but for some reason other k1 holders have problems in different states.

You can use either address. It depends on your shipping method.

USCIS Chicago Lockbox

For U.S. Postal Service (USPS) deliveries:

USCIS

PO Box 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: FBAS

131 South Dearborn - 3rd Floor

Chicago, IL 60603-5517

For instance I used express so I sent mine to the Dearborn address. If you want to use USPS then the lockbox is more suitable. Personal choice really but neither is incorrect. Whichever you send it to it'll still be delivered as they both receive applications. Like I said above it depends on your shipping method for what address is preferred.

This is correct! I wasn't too worried that it wouldn't make it, but thought it might take a bit longer.

We've been away this past week so I'm not sure which day they arrived, but all three Notice of Actions were in the mailbox, yay!
