I-601- complications with hardships... have you been approved?

Has anyone had an i-601 waiver approved without strong arguments/reasons for hardships if their fiance cannot come to the states?

I have many arguments of why it would be a hardship for me to move, but besides the normal "not wanting to be apart" (considering I've lived 27 years here without him), I have no reasons for why I couldn't get along without him here.

Has anyone been approved without these arguments?

It's very hard for K1's to prove hardship since you aren't married and get waiver approved. Most lawyers even advise get married.

I am going to disagree as it is extremely rare for a well prepared waiver not to be approved assumig the reason i is required is not exceptionally egregarious.

I disagree as well... I-601 waivers are actually overwhelmingly approved (79.6%).

No, I am going to do this independently. I am aware of the risks but I have no financial means to hire a lawyer for thousands of dollars. I am taking my time, I've researched and I'm continuing to research and I am trying to be as prepared as possible. I've also spoken with people that have gone about this and successfully obtained an approval without a lawyer. I know it's not suggested but it's the only option I have!

Yes, I've visited that site and they seem to be more familiar with the waivers more so than VJ.

With all due respect and although it's difficult to understand tone of voice through a message-please know I am not being rude when I say this.

I don't want the generalized opinion of the majority of VJ that have gained their knowledge from reading what others post.

I was asking if anyone has been approved without the specific hardships or if anyone has any specific information regarding the topic.

Unless you've gotten a waiver denied without them or been approved without them, or are VERY familiar with the ins-and-outs of a case with either of these, I'm just not up for the generic answer.
