Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Well, since this is only my 3rd time on a plane....... I guess I might have to get used to it, huh? I am over here dying about the farting guy!! Thats somethin we can never get used to. Eggs should be forbidden 3 days b4 the flight! As tall as I am, 5f 10in, I need to have an aisle seat for the sake of my legs and what not. Are the seats just as tiny on Air France as the are on RAM??? I already have a cramp in my neck from sleepin on the floor with my daughter. We were too lazy to get up and get in the bed. But thats gonna really be messed up if my neck is still JACKED up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turbulance........... :crying: , I was thinking that on the first trip I had to Morocco, it felt like I was ina car running over a bump in the road. Thats too dam scary cuz it aint no road..........:o:(

Im sure Ill be fine as soon as I get on ther and go to sleep! I hope I dont wake up and see nunna these..... :innocent: or these for that matter...

But if I had to choose, Id rather see these.... :innocent: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Flying doesn't scare me -- unless it's on a turboprop. I have a problem with propeller planes. I just don't find them that safe. Maybe that's illogical or whatever, but I prefer the larger jets.

How many of you have flown on those smaller regional jets? Ones like the CRJ and ERJ? They're pretty cramped and many airlines are now using them for longer flights (2.5 hours or so) when they were originally designed for short hops between cities. I guess it's cheaper to use those regional jets than the big 737/757/777 planes.

I almost always choose an aisle seat. This way I can stretch my leg without getting up or if I need to go to the restroom, I don't have to climb over two or three other people.

I suppose what I hate most about flying is how extremely long it takes to get to my destination. Of course, all of the flights I've been going on recently have been to see my fiancee, so perhaps that's why -- I get impatient. ;)

LOL, Air France? Talk about bad airplane food. One one of their flights they once served raw salmon and caviar, and half the flight was kids! What kind of Greek kids (was from Athens) are going to eat raw fish? Doubtful.

Anyway, I find seat size to be the worst problem. I want all my space, and I don't think it's fair when I buy a ticket and get wedged between two people who clearly should have bought 2 seats each and I only get to sit in 3/4 of my seat. I think they should pay for part of my seat then!

My mom and I came up with a solution for this. In the first two rows of economy, there will be these "comfort" seats that are 1 and 1/3 or 1 and a 1/2 times bigger than a regular seat. They would cost extra. They wouldn't have to market them to the very overweight, but it could be a mandatory seat assignment for those that don't fit in the littler seats. The seats would cost less than business class but would be more roomy than the rest of economy and farther apart from each other.

Then everyone wins and nobody has to endure the embarrassment of buying 2 seats, and nobody has to endure the annoyance of being wedged between two people too big for the seats.

--people taking everything and their kitchen sink on the plane and expecting to fit it all in COMMUNAL overhead bins (yeah, it's a big pet peeve)

--cramped seating

I have long legs. My knees usually already touch the back of the seat in front of me in economy without someone trying to to lean the seat back. So I amuse myself listening to them mutter about "stupid broken seat" when my knees have them wedged upright

I love to fly, and regional jets are my favourite. But yes they do use them for medium haul flights now, which is not what it was designed for.

Takeoff, landings, whatever, I just love it all. If you are afraid of flying, the best thing to do is to learn all you can about the airliners and how things are handled. It may seem complicated at first but it all makes sense once you understand it. Airplanes are one of the safest ways to travel, and no airline will cut corners with safety. Even the props are very safe.
