NVC Filers - November 2015

NOA 2 received from the California service center on the 7th of October and Just today NVC has received the documents. A bit upset that it took 3 full weeks for the documents to be transferred, but at the same time i'm excited to finally move on from USCIS.

My DS-261 was reviewed yesterday, so I'm waiting for the IV invoice now,

But my husband can't complete his AOS packet because He is waiting for his amended tax return.

do we wait for IRS to approve and process amended tax return before sending to NVC?

any help would be appreciated...

If you have some confirmation the taxes were filed, you are good. Just send your 1040 having e-file confirmation # on it. That will do.

Hi, the amended return can't be efiled so there won't be a confirmation. I just did one myself. What I'm planning on doing is sending the tax transcript of the original filing and the copy of the amended return that was sent with an explanation of the changes.

An amended return can take about 4 months. Depending on how long ago he filed, you can use "Where's My Amended Return?" to see if it's been accepted and use that also.

thank you I do have my 1040 for 2011 & 2012 &2013 & 2014 tax return plus my W2 do I need anything beside this

2014 1040 and W2s are mandatory, the rest of the docs are optional, I didn't send them and had our IR-1 case completed by NVC, as well as my Mom's IR-5 visa approved last week.

thank you so much ( I did gather all required document by NVC )all my taxes 1040 with W2 and latter from the bank and latter from work plus we travel together for honeymoon to 4 different country I have ticket receipt and boarding pass plus I add my wife to my medical insurance .and some pic

I called on the 28th and it had not been received yet. I'm trying again on Monday. Mine is coming from a field office, not a service center, so I don't know if the timing will be different...

We've sent AOS/IV documents on 10/22/2015, USPS Delivery Confirmation 10/29/2015. Waiting till Monday to call NVC to confirm they received our package..
