Are we going to get the new status at CEAC, when the case is received by the embassy?

When it get to embassy it says READY and case Status will be updated. Thats when you know you arrived and are scanned i and then you can email them.

Yes, we are Mumbai - we found out the date on 23rd October, via email.

Thanks a lot for collating and organizing this information in the spreadsheet for everyone!

A few questions:

Did you receive the interview notification by mail as well?

Was it also dated as of October 23rd?

Did the email contain everything exactly as in mailed version?

Sorry I'm so late, I have been extremely busy and haven't been online. I had my interview on November 5th. Our interview went pretty well, the CO asked the basic questions like, when did we get married, where do I work, my job title, at the end of all the questions she said Congratulations, but tell your wife to send a new AOS and my tax returns, and a joint sponsor, and his international passport. I was so confused about that because I really thought all my finances were in order, and NVC didn't say anything was wrong. Anyway, I quickly gathered all the documents needed and sent it off. He will drop everything off tomorrow. Hopefully this will be over

Back when we went through K1, we weren't informed that my income wasn't going to be acceptable without a co-sponsor, until my husband was at the interview. We we're in AP until we produced the needed co-sponsor. Within a week after submitting the needed documents, the visa was issued.

Yes.

You will only see it say at embassy once they have logged your case into their system.

Give it a day or two considering Wednesday Nov 11 is a holiday (Veteran's day)

I have a case complete finally, my scan date was 08th Oct and today I saw the 3 N/A which got me excited :)

To confirm if its a case complete I called NVC and the rep told me that you have got a case complete today and now give sometime for the interview to be scheduled :)

So it's been about 52 days since CC and I have little hope for an interview in early Dec. We'd like to celebrate our son's 2nd birthday and Xmas together. Does anybody know, in case I should get an interview in Dec, how easy it would be to reschedule it to a later date in January?

It's about time my child sees his father again.

Oh sweet life! Now I know truly what they meant by patience is a virtue. We were really hoping to spend our first wedding anniversary together in Dec. Seems bleak now.

I think once your case reaches the embassy, you can ask for a reschedule. Better confirm with Dwheels.

Hello everyone, my husband had his interview today and got put on AP. He has to go back for his vaccinations on Nov 25th and they also want more proof of our relationship. He showed them about 5-10 photos, marriage certificate, only 1 viber conversation (my husband didn't print out all of our conversations. Only 1 from viber....sigh) He's going to drop off more proof when he turns in the medical. When we called to confirm before the appointment he was told to take the printout of the email. he showed it and He says then they gave him a hard time even getting into the embassy. Then, lady asked tons of questions during the interview, such as


1) where do i live


2) where do my parents live


3) do i have brothers and sisters? if so, how many?


4) where do they all work?


5) what do i tell my husband about washington, dc


6) and more about our relationship. don't have those yet to tell
