    5/23/2015 Case arrived at NVC

    6/7/2016 Didn’t get case number so case went to supervisor look *****(new time frame is 2 weeks to get your case and invoice number form NVC.)

    6/9/2016 Case Number and Invoice number received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Received

    6/10/2016 Form DS-261 Sent

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL INVOICED

    6/14/2016 AOS BILL PAID

    6/16/2016 IV BILL Assigned

    6/17/2016 IV BILL PAID

    6/17/2016 IV and AOS packet arrived at NVC

I am way over my 6 months mark- 184 days (PD 09/29). I tried to submit an online inquiry only to receive the following message - "Your application or petition is currently within the posted processing times. An inquiry may not be created at this time. Further information about recent processing times can be viewed on the uscis.gov webpage.

If you have other questions regarding your application or petition, contact USCIS Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283 or 1-800-767-1833 (TTY)."

I think 6 months is from the transfer date and NOT PD date

You've passed 202 days.. You know you should call USCIS and submit a case enquiry. You're way past the 6 months mark.

Thanks already submitted the inquiry yesterday. They told me. To wait 2 weeks for a response.

I called to submit an inquiry and was told that I was not allowed to submit a case inquiry until it's been 6 months. (PD 10/20).. so how is it that many people with PD after mine are allowed to submit case inquiries? What am I doing wrong?

I called yesterday and the officer told me they are processing cases from Oct 16th and before. Therefore she would not allow me to submit an inquiry over the phone either. Our PD is also 10/20.

USCIS Process:

Sent I-130: October 12, 2015
NOA1 hardcopy received: October 15, 2015

***Countless USCIS phone calls, congressional inquiries, and Ombudsman's Office inquiries later****
NOA2 approval: July 14, 2016

Wow... I got overly excited when I got an email about a case status update today... then I saw it was regarding our 129F K3... stated it has been transferred... which my congressman told me it was transferred over 2 months ago. The little shimmer of hope can be extremely upsetting.

USCIS Process:
