Just mailed my I-129F!!!!

I finally mailed the I-129F package overnight express! Hopefully no RFE's..

It was so stressful, checking, double checking, notarizing, preparing... blah blah blah..

But now what do I do?

Just wait.

and wait.

I don't know which is worse being too busy preparing, or just waiting. Fortunately it's the Vermont Service Center.

Since your know the reply will come fairly quick, start to think on the evidence and things for the interview, etc (but take awhile for a well deserved break) i know i did, i didnt touch a paper for awhile

Yes VSC is much faster so that's a plus. It will start to fly by trust me. I can't believe I'm saying that but it's been almost 6 weeks since I've filed and the time really did go by. Of course I was a nervous wreck the whole time lol.

I have the consulate is really nice in istanbul - the ppl i mean - so that's another plus.

In terms of what to do,

I'm not touching anything for a least a week- yes it was a huge relief to get all of this organized and finally mailed. I NEED A BREAK!

But, from reading the guides and forums it seems the worst is over, (for me at least). All I think I need to do is send the duplicate package to Omer with originals of everything and the I 134 Financial info with supporting financial documents.

On his end- I don't want to tell him to get the court and police info yet, as from what I understand- it's only valid for three months.

Yes, for you - but not Omer, I looked up what I have to do last night as the non-USC fiancée and it seems like a LOT more than my fiancé had to do! More forms... >.<

That's something I was wondering about too - I want to get the police check but since I don't know when we'll get our NOA2 (obviously ) I was thinking maybe I should wait til then. Especially if they are done pretty quick.

Hope you have a great an happy marriage once everything is done. Hopefully this K1 system makes a lot of couples very strong in their marriage. :-) People who marry citizens of their own country have no idea!

The paperwork was good for like a year, i think... Anyways, we were a bit lucky we did it early or else we would have had problems. But check out the timelines for other folks that are in the same country as you are, you will get a pretty good idea of the timeline, hence, be better prepared.

Good point! But did your fiancé get the fingerprint check, or the regular one? Anyway, I will look into it cause that would be good to know.
