Salam Brother,

It will take a couple years to process your petition. You can try to apply for a student visa; however, student visas come with a lot of strings. The most important things to consider is you must be accepted to a college that will sponsor you and you must show that you have enough money to pay for the program. If you have a child born in the US it will add no complications for your visa. and her visiting for a couple months yearly will not cause problems with your visa process. The only thing to keep in mind is your wife should not spend excessive times outside of the US (2 or 3 months in a year is ok).

Best wishes!

If you get married to your LPR girlfriend the process for you to immigrate legally into the U.S will take about 2 years, you will be under the F2A category.

Hi! I hope this can help... it is a blog article about the spousal visa

1. there is no specific time table about how long it may take but mine took us 8months, that includes delays because we had to re-do that AOS part.

2. it is not gonna hamper nor improve the timeline.

3. NO. it will not give any exception... still the process will be the same.

4. No. it will not hamper or do any bad thing with the process... as a matter of fact it can help prove that the relationship is genuine.
