Hello August filers!!!! Just curious how your fairing on the NVC front? It's been about 3 weeks since our I-129 was send to the NVC and you could say I'm getting a little impatient lol. Congrats to everyone on their approvals.

See my reply above to answer that question. Your Embassy Letter is found here: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCIQFjAAahUKEwiN-cabq9jHAhVIjQ0KHTDQC7I&url=http%3A%2F%2Fphotos.state.gov%2Flibraries%2Fcolombia%2F231771%2FPDFs%2FIVPkt3-4Instforinterviewmedicalexam_Oct2013_.pdf&usg=AFQjCNEpCX1tzqMoy4YxxYDJokypCTqJLw

Follow it and you should have smooth sailing. I recommend getting the phone app for case updates through your journey. Details in my signature below. Good luck

Thanks Greenbaum, I see that you have been a great help to many people on this forum, great job, you should be on the payroll.

I clicked on the phone app link in your signature area and it just toom me to a wix.com sign-in page.

I guess now I just need to find the Colombia forum and start following it since we have now been sent to the NVC. I know what most of the acronomys are (finally) on this forum but what does this mean? "continue to monitor CEAC as it will update when your case has left NVC" What is the CEAC?

Thanks again Greenbaum ;)

About the broken link. It's now fixed and working. I think on the day that I created the links I was logged into my website and copied the web address to create the link. Not something I wanted to do, so thanks for pointing that out to me.

CEAC is Consular Electronic Application Center. It's a website that lets you monitor your case here. https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=WwjqOlbeRYzCYubaSQI+RA==

The phone app will automatically check that site for you and return any updates when they happen. It's a great app and very time saving as you're not web surfing or on the phone.

Thanks for the acknowledgement for helping others just like you.

There's a difference between the received date and the actual NOA1 date, which notice of action date does it say on your hardcopy?

I know this, I am tracking based on my WAC number and that how I checked who were those approved before or after my WAC number. WAC numbers were assigned as they received our forms. Those WAC series or numbers before and after me has all Aug 13 received date not Notice of Action date. If you are using the app you should know what I mean.

Notice of action date is just when they sent you the notice, it was just the date of the letter. When they actually received your application can be seen in your 797C and when you check your WAC status which is an earlier date, that date is when they assign your WAC number. Of course it is impossible that "WAC ending in 694 - approved" was received ahead of me if I am ending in 643; but then of course considering our papers were assigned to different adjudicators.

Compare your WAC number guys. 634- approved, 635 received, 636 approved, 637 RFEd, 638 received, 639 approved, 640 RFEd, 641 approved, 642 - received, 643- APPROVE!!!! OMG just checked earlier and now we are approved!!! As in just saw this now..

i called NVC today, just to try if i can get through easily, did 10 dials, then was on hold for 10minutes. talked to customer service rep, i asked her for our Case number, she then asked me for the notice date, which is August 25, she then said it's too early and it will take up to 35days for the case to be forwarded to them from USCIS... she probably did not check it on their system and just tell people they don't have it yet.. I'm not sure.. ill call them back again later this month..

Congrats the two of you on your approvals.

Based on the two of your numbers it seems they are not numbered according to the order received, unless like one of you mentioned it's due to different people handling the cases coming in.

My WAC# ends in *230 with the date received August 7.

For me still not NOA-2. There are cases with numbers both before and after mine waiting approval.

on the app search key in start receipt WAC number earlier than yours say WAC___ 300, count 100 you will see..

Wait.. maybe I should provide more digit.. mine is WAC159___27643.. How about yours? I don't think that WAC are assigned not based on the dates received. Applications including I-130, i-539i-360, etc are with WAC not only I-129 so there are hundreds of these maybe in one day alone.

I checked WAC close to me, all received Aug 13. Is Aug 20 your received date? NOT NOA 1 date.

Your WAC is later than mine, since your application was received on Aug 17.

You wanted to see those WAC numbers before of after you right? In this way you can see applications being approved closed to you.

Yes, you don't have their number. Just enter your number and change the last 3 digits to 300, you will see the series of WAC if any one near yours are being approved. Don't forget count 100. Just play with the app.
