Anyone else get a bunch of receipts emailed from the NVC (DS260, IV fee, AOS fee, IV Package, AOS package). I got them all today.....does this mean I should be expecting a CC?

I just received an email saying my case has been completed. Then received two emails about DS-260 submission confirmation.

Called NVC today and received both our case and invoice ID numbers. Provided our email addresses as well. Question, since we provided our email addresses, do we still have to fill out the DS-261?

Still right there with you! Called today and got case number and invoice ID. The guy said they were putting it into the system right then, so couldn't give my email address to him (sounded legit and not just a brush off, he was super super nice), so will call tomorrow.

Also pretty cool, only 25 minute wait calling at 2pm EST, was expecting way longer!

Quite a few people actually.

I have received about 4 so far! 2 for AOS, 1 for IV fee and 1 for DS-260!

Best to call NVC and see if you have a CC

I called the NVC 5 times today and was never able to be connected to a supervisor. We've been waiting for their callback for over a month.

Whenever I mention that lots of other people submitted their DS260 at the same date or even later than us already have a case complete, they tell me right away that "they are probably lying about it" and "we process them in the order they were received".

Is there anyone with a similar timeline as mine but with a case complete already, willing to PM me their case number so I can mention that on the phone?

Please house, how long does it take to access AOS and IV bill after choosing Choice of Agent?

Your AOS fee should be available now. The IV fee unlocks after your ds261 has been reviewed.

Wow! I called the NVC again this morning to ask when the DS-261 would be available. The lady on the phone said it should take about a week, but to check the website daily. She also mentioned that my wife and I should be receiving an email from the NVC with our welcome letter, cover sheet, etc. When I asked her for a time frame on the email, she would only say that it would arrive "soon". So in the meantime we will be looking for the DS-261 on the website.

That's a pretty short wait time considering that you called during the middle of the day.

Hello all,

I'm new to the whole thing, got my case number through the phone on July 27. Have submitted my DS-261 and paid the AOS bill. We haven't received our "welcome letter" from NVC, so we're on the look out for that.

We're working on our AOS and IV packet now. And I just wanted to check, is it better to submit both the packets together? Or should I submit the AOS after the bill shows "PAID" and then wait for the IV bill to be paid before submitting the IV packet? I checked the elsewhere on VJ and people were saying that NVC wants them to be mailed in together. Thanks!

Yes NVC wants them to mail together else you will get a checklist for the second document. And its very easy to cross whn we send together.

You have the AOS payment confirmation page right? That should be enough to send the document. I would suggest you to send it early, so your 30days clock will started early and that helps a lot.

Thanks for your reply SiVin!

Is the AOS confirmation page the one that we can print out after paying the AOS bill? It has a barcode and my case number on it?

I would like to send in my packet ASAP however, my problem is that I don't have a PCC from my native country yet. The police need some sort of document to show that the USEM needs a copy of it :/ Will there be anything like that in the welcome letter that the NVC will send us?

I don't think it makes sense to send in an incomplete packet because then we'll get a checklist right? :/

yes, the barcoded sheet is enough for them to scan your package.

For PCC, you can provide the copy for NOA2 you got from USCIS. I have given that when I requested the PCC. They very well know that for immigrant visas we need to provide PCC, all they want is that we are in the process of immigrant visa.

get PCC and send the complete package, so you will not end up on checklist, checklists and getting it review is miserable.
