wait!!!! we are supposed to give them more proof of relationship? I thought that USCIS handles that part not the NVC!

No, proof of relationship is NOT required at the NVC stage, it's optional. But a lot of applicants send some anyways, especially those going through particular embassies/consulates that are tough on bona fide relationships. Even more so when officers don't look at anything submitted at the interview, but only that which was submitted during the process at USCIS and/or NVC.

Hey draga,

When did you receive the 38195136 and case#? Has it been more then a week?

Just know that they are extremely backed up, but it will be much faster if you pay your fees online, even if you want 7-10 days.

We paid AOS on 5/20, it was finally processed on 7/14, and we must now received the IV bill.

Case and IIN on 7/8 and completed the ds261 on 7/11. Received AOS bill 7/20 but still can't sign in to pay it.

I guess we could call before trying the mail.

I am the petitioner, he still lives overseas

found each other August 2009
started courting December 2010
first held hands February 2011
engaged June 2013
married May 2014
began process January 2015

Most recent update: Interviewed on 05-OCT 2015. Approved and visa in hand!!!

Hi,

I filled out the DS-261 on July 13th, still am not able to pay any fees. Do you know how long it takes to be able to pay nowadays?

When I login, this is what it shows: http://i.imgur.com/gf416t0.png

and if I login to pay the fee, it says that message "This case is in the process of termination."

That's the same issue I'm having. I've received my AOS fee bill and it still won't let me log in. I'm going to call them.

Yes called them, but most likely it will open in a day or two

p.s. we also got the bill on 07/20, ours is IV bill, but and hoping it will open for both at about the same time

Has anyone seen the trend lately ( if any)

How long after the bills have been issued, how long will it take for the bills to be available online for the payment?

Thank you all!

We didn't get a checklist but were told on the phone we didn't mail the police certificate.

I grabbed an exact copy I made of my IV/AOS packages and they were there. I told the person on the phone to look at the two last pages of the document to confirm they are there indeed. However, only a supervisor has access to the file and if they are requested to look at the file, that will take 42 days. Incredible, isn't it?

Stuck on the NVC black hole since April. Will have to wait another 2 months after a case complete to get an interview. A whole year is gone by then. Apart :(
