Have been stuck at NVC since April 2015. :crying::crying: Got a checklist on May 15th sent back and received by them on May 21st and still no response. Feeling so frustrated like this is never going to end.

Keep calling them because if you don't they wont do anything

No

She's wrong.

If you send a copy of the 1040, you must also include copies of schedules and W2's (the complete return). Otherwise, it's an invalid submission, if you didn't get checklisted for this, two things will happen, you will either get checklisted or the CO at the interview will demand the copies.

Tax transcripts can be used in lieu of copies of the complete return. It's the tax transcript that has all the relevant information.

Well Well This is indeed very informative...

I just sent 1040 and its relevant schedules ( NO TRANSCRIPT & NO W-2 )...

I got a checklist but NVC did not indeed asked for w-2...

Ryan H, can you please elaborate, what is w-2 actually meant for??? is it necessary for everyone???...

If I get TRANSCRIPT FOR INTERVIEW, IS THERE STILL NEED FOR W-2???

Help! Can we use the 1040 form without the W2? Wifey says she only has the 1040 forms and they have more info than the W2. Will this be an issue?

Yes I think your wife is right....

I also send 1040 without w2... I did not have any w 2

Hey I just read what Ryan H just said about w-2 and as of now I searched about w-2, In my case there is no need of w-2.

It depends on what your sponsor does for his earnings, whether he is an employee, businessman, or independent contractor.

A W2 is issued by an employer to an employee who provides a service to the employer.

Don't worry friends, you can always print the DS-260 confirmation sheet anytime from the CEAC website. click the COMPLETE, of DS-260, click on the SIGN link on the top, you will reach a page where you can print the confirmation page and DS260. Dont worry guys clicking on DS-260 after completing will not restart your form, like DS-261. i've tried a couple of times.

Waiting to call NVC to confirm the meaning of 3 NAs (hopefully CC)

Cool Rony, thanx.

I've been wondering where I could do that.

As far as I know we only need to bring the confirmation page to the interview right. Not the entire ds260 too.

Would be another tree, if I have to print that all out. :s

Well you are almost there also then :)!!! Yay!

Yea I know! The checklist sucked but didn't put us back that much in time anyways, but the technical difficulties at NVC sure did...

I'll update you Monday when the case complete is confirmed ;)

Yea check my signature :)

Original scan date 28th of May, got one checklist and scan date for that 23rd of June

Yeah, another sucky thing, those twp months of website error. Again, I was thinking, if only we had sent in our package a week earlier.....

But, we need to stay positive, for karma's sake ;)

I see you already got your medical? I can't get my medical before I know my interview date. I called a while ago because I had some questions. She wouldnt even answer those without the interview date first.....jeez, lady....

5thmonth @NVC ...and 6th is also inevitable

In my 6th month.. Waiting for supervisor review.

:/

I take it back! 3rd month at NVC :joy:

I seriously hope they speed things up and give both of you a speedy CC! It sucks to see so many people getting their CCs while you are still stuck waiting to be reviewed.

5 months at NVC, pregnant in th 6 month, and still my case did not get complete?...

My fifth month also. Can't believe this is taking just as long, or longer for some people, than the USCIS part. almost a year ago I was thinking: I can't wait for the case to be at NVC. It'll go quick as of that point.......boy, what was I wrong.

I have good faith in that NVC is working hard to clear the back log. So many people have CC, it is bound to happen for us soon. Hang in there peeps!

Should i have received an email of some sort from NVC by now?

Paid AOS FEE- 7/5

Completed DS-261- 7/5

Sent aos/iv package- 7/14

I called on Monday 7/13 and the agent reviewed my choice of agent over the phone however, until now i have not received any type of email from NVC.

I plan on calling nvc tomorrow first thing in the morning to ask them if they received my packages. But my question is should have i received an email from them by now?

You should receive an email from NVC stating that and when they received your paperwork. The when date wil be your scan date. Give it another few days. It took 10 for us.

You may not require it for your specific situation, however, it's irresponsible to advise others of that without completely knowing what their situation is. The other poster did not make that clear.

I'm curious, do you get an interview date assigned in Stockholm by the NVC or do you book it yourself?
