660 Pages .. Wao.. and above all you counted themmm.. again super waoo and super neat

yes i counted manually, lol no, i went and printed all that at a printing place so the printing is faster and in a way cheaper than the toner and paper and time with the home use printer. i knew i had lot of pages so they turned on the meter for me and charged me per page :)

but yes i stamped them with the case number manually each page, except about 100 odd pages of whatsapp chats. i stamped some random pages in it not all.

Today I did check the forms,I felt most confusing...THE INCOME TAX PAPERS.....I have income tax papers and its very confusing ... These are lot of papers to which I have no clue....

Guys I have following 2 types of forms:

1 FORM 1040(1040 ,1040 SCHEDULE C, 1040 SCHEDULE SE, 1040 SCHEDULE EIC, 1040ES , 1040X )& FORM 8867 from dept of treasury-irs

2 IT 201, IT 201X,IT 215 from NV State dept of taxation and Finance

Are these the only ones that are required?any additions/deletions.

Any other document I might need?

I have not seen any form that says IRS transcript in them, where is the transcript :ranting:

Click on the link below. It directs you to the NVC page about collectiong financial documents. There you can click on get IRS transcript.

It depends on what kind of form I864 you filled in, what kind of paperwork they need.

We filled in I864EZ and the paperwork we sent in was:

For 2014, which is most recent tax year: IT1040-individual tax income

For 2014, which is most recent tax year: W2

2 pay slips of recent moths (febr + march 2015)

We did not file a IRS transcript.

Its either that or the 1040+W2. Again, for I864EZ.

So, to get it clear: your maiden name is Martin? Where does the name Duran come from? Is it your husbands surname? Different countries and cultures have different name constructions, that's why I ask.

For some people the middle name is a surname and for others the middle name is a given name, so what is Duran?

Since i got married, my last name would be MARTIN..DURAN is my last name before marriage..and that became my middle name now since marriage..thats how we do it in philippines..our maiden name becomes the middle name..i called NVC early this morning, rep said not to worry when my hubby gets the interview he can mention it to the consul over there and make corrections..the rep said they could not do anything once its submitted..but she said a lot of people makes mistakes on their ds260, corrections are done during the interview..i felt relieved!

Thanx for the explanation. Yeah, So Martin and Duran both being last names you should have filled both of them in at 'surnames'. But, problem solved, right! I am relieved for you!:)

So, filling in the ds260. I have to fill in my work and scholing history. Does anyone know how the fill this info in when a company is closed because of bankrupty or a faculty is closed? Adresses and phone numbers and what not do not exist anymore. Or does anyone know where to find the info on how to fill it in in cases like this?

Same thing with me. My previous schools change their names (I put original names that are on my graduation certificates or diplomas), 3 work places that I worked at are being closed, no longer exist. I still had saved original agreements I signed with them, put their addresses and my bosses names. You have to state the fact where you worked at and how long, you don't have to explain that the company no longer exists. If the company went on bankruptcy it doesn't mean you never worked there. Just put all info that you have.

thank you so much, yes this is correct, it shows below:

AOS ....................... N/A

IV ........................ N/A

though both fees have long been paid, is this a case complete

Well, I don't know if you filed ds260 yet? I can see you sent in all your docs already so that's good. Tigether with ds260 they can start working on your case complete.

Apparently when you have 3 n/a's it means CC. Not sure what the third n/a is supposed to be.

Anyone?

Yeah, i guess that makes sense.

So hubby called nvc just to be sure and the rep said, put in all info you have, you may also put closed or bankrupt behind company /school name. When you go for your interview, and they have questions, they will ask it then and there.

You still have to call them and have them review. ...that's the big secret

lol. That's fine because we all LOVE calling NVC. :sarcasm: ;)

At least I was able to finally log in. The last couple times I had called they had said my case was locked and they couldn't do anything, not even add our email addresses to the file.

Hello.

We were able to fill our DS 260 finally yesterday!

I however noticed today that under the work/education/training information area, there is no tab for previous work/education/training.....

There's only a "Present"and "Additional" tab, no "Previous"...

Anyone experienced this? ...how do we solve this? Would this affect anything?

Please help!

Thanks.

This happened to me and my wife. The previous work experience tab disappeared. So far no problem, but I am waiting on Case Complete.

Just fill out what it asks for. If they want previous employer information they will ask for it at the interview. (This is what I learned from searching for solutions like you are currently doing)
